For a while, we thought that [name]Frederick[/name] [name]William[/name] was it but now my DH says he just doesn’t feel the love. He adores the name [name]Rosemarie[/name] and wants to adore a boy’s name as well.
We made a list of names we like which is all over the place. I have thrown in some of my faves and his but not saying which is which. And, of course we would love more ideas from the experts. Last name is still [name]Lewis[/name].
Wow. I love a ton of your names! [name]Frederick[/name] [name]William[/name] is very classy. [name]Graham[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], and [name]Owen[/name] are amazing too!
[name]Malcolm[/name]- This is a great name. I think it’d be a great choice. Good NN options as well.
[name]Graham[/name]- It’s okay, though I prefer it as a middle name. The short, quick way it’s said doesn’t appeal to me.
[name]Roderick[/name]- I think it could grow on me. My first impression is mediocre, but I think I could learn to like it.
[name]Fletcher[/name]- I’ve never liked this name much, doesn’t seem like a name to me.
[name]Duncan[/name]- This is a pretty good name. I like it more the more I hear it.
[name]Jasper[/name]- This is one of my personal favorites. It’s got a lot going for it.
[name]Owen[/name]- I like this name, though I prefer [name]Ewan[/name] and [name]Euan[/name]. Nice option though.
[name]Stewart[/name]- Not such a fan. Sounds like a combo of ‘stew’ and ‘wart’ to my ear.
[name]Fraser[/name]- I think I would quite like this name, but it’s so tied to the TV show for me that it’s hard to think about it without that association.
I like your list, however [name]Malcolm[/name] is my very clear favorite. Full disclosure, it is #2 on my own personal list. If I back out on [name]Desmond[/name], [name]Malcolm[/name] is going to be the name of my boy. I have strange associations with most of your other names, even though they are great and lovable names. [name]Jasper[/name] would be my 2nd choice.
The only problem with [name]Malcolm[/name] is that I don’t love [name]Malcolm[/name] [name]William[/name]. The tongue gets a bit tied up with the l’s and m’s. [name]Jasper[/name] [name]William[/name] is phenomenal, though!
Great names. I like [name]Jasper[/name] best with last name [name]Lewis[/name]. [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Lewis[/name] seems like he could be serious, fun or both.
To keep in mind sister (future or current) [name]Rosemarie[/name], I think [name]Owen[/name] flows best. [name]Jasper[/name] would be #2 and then [name]Graham[/name] #3. I like the name [name]Malcolm[/name] but not so much with last name [name]Lewis[/name] and [name]Rosemarie[/name]… and if you do decide to keep middle name [name]William[/name], I like that best with [name]Owen[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name] as well! [name]Owen[/name] [name]William[/name] [name]Lewis[/name], [name]Jasper[/name] [name]William[/name] [name]Lewis[/name]…PERFECT!
