Brief Plot: This story is based around a mansion called [name_m]Haze[/name_m] House, the place has been abandoned since mid-20th century. It was built in 1813. It is said to be haunted by all who has lived there, been there, born there, and killed there. [name_f]My[/name_f] main character, [name_f]Circe[/name_f], is a writer and sets out to prove that this house isn’t haunted but is encountered by various ghosts while trapped in there. Once convinced that the place is defiantly haunted she intends to free the trapped spirits and figure out how this curse started. She is followed and befriended by the ghost of a teenaged girl, who broke in three years ago with two other friends but was murdered while she was trying to escape. her corpse was the first dead body [name_f]Circe[/name_f] found.
Character Description: I need a name for the ghost girl in the brief plot ^. She has long brown hair, she lost all colour in her eyes, they are grey now but before she had dark blue. She’s pretty with a heart shaped head and dimples when she smiles. She is shy at first but becomes stronger when she meets [name_f]Circe[/name_f] and tries to protect her, she is always humming and quietly singing her favourite songs throughout the story. She used to live in the small village near the house, which is about an hour away, with her parents and younger sister. she died in and wears now as a ghost a blue hoodie, with the hood usually up and zipped half way up, light denim shorts and a loose white tee shirt, on her feet are white converse shoes. [name_u]Blue[/name_u] is her favourite colour. The ghost girl is a main character from the house who helps [name_f]Circe[/name_f] navigate her way around and scouts out for danger by phasing her head through doors and walls. She died from being hunted and brutally murdered by a crazed man also trapped in the house, she was stabbed in the stomach and hit brutally on the top of her head. her body was found by [name_f]Circe[/name_f] in the entrance hall, wrapped or maybe buried by the man in a fallen down tapestry. She never found her two friends until [name_f]Circe[/name_f] came and helped her. Their names are [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] NN [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] NN [name_f]Hattie[/name_f].
Who named the character: her parents, helped by her godparents.
Immediate Family: her parents and younger sister, her families names don’t really come into the story but i was thinking i might have her talk about her sister so I’ll probably name her either [name_f]Bree[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], or [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]. Her sister looks a lot like her but with short lighter brown hair. She’s short for her age (she’s probally three years younger than the ghost girl, who is sixteen, so the last time the ghost girl saw her she was thirteen) and is very sweet, innocent and girly. What do you guys think i should call her sister, I’m struggling a little. You can put another suggestion if you don’t think any of those fit.
Already Considered: I have looked at a few names but didn’t really like them for her or i wanted to use them for another character in the story. I’ve looked at: [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] NN [name_u]Lou[/name_u], [name_f]Suzanna[/name_f] NN [name_f]Zuzu[/name_f] or Suz, [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] NN [name_f]Ana[/name_f].
[name_m]Don[/name_m]’t Suggest These Names: i can’t think of any specific name i don’t want but don’t suggest anything that’s too long or too short. I’d rather a name that isn’t popular but still heard of.
Anything else?: Preferably a name with a cute nickname, of course something that suits her personality.
