Name for a lonely housewife?

currently plotting a novel that focuses on a lonely, perceptive housewife and her move to the suburbs w her husband and her newborn daughter, lucille! it’s sort of a fantastical story — she hears and sees the ghosts of the other women neglected and maligned by their husbands who have lived in her house in the past! very much the house as a character of its own vibe. I’m not sure what to name the main woman or her husband; I’m looking for older and more elegant names for both of them but something recognizable and not TOO old fashioned or weird. also looking for last name ideas, preferably something short and simple but not ridiculously common! thanks guys

[name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_u]Maria[/name_u]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]

[name_f]My[/name_f] mind automatically went to [name_u]Maria[/name_u], though, so that’s my #1 suggestion

Sounds like a great story!

Premise makes me think of The Yellow Wallpaper by [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_m]Perkins[/name_m] [name_m]Gilman[/name_m] – so maybe using one of her names!
