we currently have a 6-year-old wheaten terrier named [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] after the kids’ show [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] and Ferb. For short, we call him Phin (pronounced like finn)! we also have two cats, one named [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] (also named after [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] and Ferb) and one named [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] after [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] Schulyer from [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m].
We are getting a black-and-white maltipoo sometime in the next week or two and are looking for a name. All of the other pets’ names were a consesus among my family of 6 and were all named after pop-culture things we liked at the time, but we cannot think of any fitting names at the moment, hence why I’m here.
We’re very excited to have him! Because he is a maltipoo (Maltese/miniature poodle mix) he will be very very small, about the size of our smaller cat! He is mostly black but has a number of white spots on him as well as a white belly. Overall, he is tiny and completely adorable!
The names we have picked out right now as maybes are:
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] (this is my personal favorite because I think it’s both cute and goes well with [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], but my family says there aren’t enough nicknames).
Moose (Moo for short, since he is black and white, and my mom thinks it’s funny that such a tiny dog would be named moose).
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] (to go with our cat named [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], after [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m]-- [name_u]Alex[/name_u] or [name_m]Xander[/name_m] for short).
Ferb (No matter what I say, my mom is dead insistent upon having dogs named ‘[name_m]Phineas[/name_m] and Ferb’).
I’m partial to either [name_m]Felix[/name_m] or Moose, but we’re one hundred percent open to other suggestions! What do you guys think about these or have any other ideas?
Thanks in advance!
