Name For A Rat Character

Hello I need your help to think of the perfect name for my new character that I created.

Description: The character is an gray rat, he is gray with left bangs, with a big pointy snout with a pink nose with buck teeth. He is medium and is slender with a round rotund belly. His voice resembles Jason Schwartzman and Michael J. Fox, he also has a goofy laugh.

He is a gray pet rat and faithful companion of Ingrid, a young giraffe, and she affectionately calls him “little guy” and “little buddy”. He is sweet, friendly, brave, intelligent, spunky and humorous. He enjoys drawing, painting, and collecting things like bottle caps and buttons. He can even build and fix things.

The names that I’m considering:
Ralph “Ralphie”
Rudyard “Rudy”

I’ll like his name to fit very well with his character and personality, if you had thought of the perfect name for him, hit the reply button!

[name_m]Ralph[/name_m] is in a famous mouse story or three, so I would go with [name_m]Rudy[/name_m], which I really like.
