Hey guys, today I’m searching for a name to fit a very important character in my new series. I know it sounds strange, a voice inside my character’s head. In the beginning of the series, the voice is really just a nudge in a certain direction. Then is eventually grows into an actual voice, then ‘the mind playing tricks’, and finally at the series’ end, a full-blown visual/auditory hallucinated character which only my MC can see.
The character, when it reaches that stage, looks like the following in my head, though it is applicable to change from now until the time I get to put it to paper.
[name]Male[/name], early twenties, curly dark hair, dark eyes, American, very cavalier and odd, funny, a little annoying, and unnervingly wise.
I only need a first name for the character. Preferably something short, like 3-5 letters. I might push it to 6 letters in some cases, like with [name]Warren[/name]. Something kind of common or familiar, possibly could be the short version of a longer name (I’m on the fence with that idea). Like [name]Hal[/name], [name]Jack[/name], [name]Cass[/name]…Anything that fits the description above. Thanks a lot =)

I do too; I love the name [name]Nate[/name], but it’s also the name of another character so I can’t use it! Actually a good few of these names are already taken by other characters.
