This character has long platinum hair that come so to her waist, one blue eye, one gold eye and pale skin. What would her name be? I’ll give you a bit of insight into the names: (Leaning towards [name_f]Clary[/name_f]):
Clary - My first choice. I thought this went really well with the appearance
Wren- Still not sold on it
Sparrow - I really like it. Tori means ‘bird’ so I decided I throw a few names in their following the theme
Izzy - I just like this one
Lark - See Sparrow
Fable - Always wanted to use this for a character
Alouette - means ‘bird’ too
My first thought was [name_f]Luna[/name_f].
I don’t really feel like I could give you a definitive answer without knowing her personality or what kind of world she’s a part of, but from your choices I do like [name_f]Clary[/name_f] and [name_f]Alouette[/name_f].
okay, so i know this is completely unsolicited, but i wanted to say:
the description of this character sounds rather mary sue-ish. having complete heterochromia (two different eye colours) is rare enough, but it is impossible for a human to have a pure gold eye. and the combination of pale skin, long platinum hair, and heterochromic eyes is unusual enough for me to mark it as a sue on first glance.
however, if you write the character’s personality right, i think you can avoid making her a sue.
as such, i would also recommend not giving her an unusual name. i don’t know anything about your story, but if it’s uncommon for characters in your world to have names like [name_f]Alouette[/name_f] and [name_u]Fable[/name_u], i would suggest giving a more common name to this character to avoid the appearance of a mary sue.
all this to say, my favourite is [name_f]Clary[/name_f]. <3
I’d say the first thought is usually the best so you should stick with [name_f]Clary[/name_f], but it kind-of rhymes with [name_f]Tori[/name_f] and I find that unfitting. If I recall correctly they’re twins? Twin names shouldn’t rhyme. Also, [name_f]Tori[/name_f] spelled with i and [name_f]Clary[/name_f] with y is weird.
From your list, [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Lark[/name_f] are my favourites.
[name_f]Zippora[/name_f]/[name_f]Tziporah[/name_f] also means bird, but doesn’t seem to fit with the other names on your list.
Thanks! I should probably clear something up: this short story is set in a different realm, with hybrids and stuff. The girls aren’t meant to look normal, or have too usual names that go etc. Sorry, that was my mistake! Thank you for all your help though
