name for baby 3!

Were expecting baby number three!!!
My son is [name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_m]Keith[/name_m] and my daughter is [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]

For girls so far I am in love with
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] nn [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and or [name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] nn [name_u]Rue[/name_u] -this would be a family honoring name daddy’s grandma is named [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]-
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f]
[name_f]Destiny[/name_f]
[name_f]Charleigh[/name_f] -would be another family honoring name-

and thats where I am stuck, I adore the idea of mixing family names with fresh sounding middles

for boys so far I adore
[name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Micheal[/name_m] [name_m]Jr[/name_m]. -daddy’s is [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Micheal[/name_m]- love the idea of naming baby after him
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] nn [name_m]Eli[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]

Any suggestions even if they arent on this list would be wonderful and also some personal thoughts and middle names too!!

Thank you
~[name_u]Abby[/name_u]

Hey, you have my cousin’s name! Not that it is super uncommon but I always like to see other Abbys.
Anyway, here are my thoughts,
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]-not a favorite name of mine for no particular reason, it sounds perfectly fine I’ve just never loved it, but I think it is nonetheless a good name. A possible downside is its huge popularity, but if that isn’t a big problem.
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]-I’ve been loving this name for a while.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]-it’s in my signature so of course I like it, it is so classic and although it is very widely used it doesn’t seem overrused imo.
[name_f]Destiny[/name_f]-same as [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], minus the huge popularity part, although it is popular.
[name_f]Charleigh[/name_f]-interesting spelling, kind of cool actually, this is one boyish sounding name that I’ve begun to feel could work well on girls.

My favorites from your girl’s list are [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

I like all of your boy names.
[name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Jr[/name_m].-it’s already a solid name combo but the fact that it is honoring his dad makes it particularly special.
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m]-my name is actually an international variation of this name so you can imagine that i also like this one a good deal.
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]-so cute, I’ve been loving this name lately.

I can’t really decide on which boy name from your list I like more.

I can’t think of many suggestions at the moment but some names that I can think of are
Girls:
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Allegra[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] (almost exactly like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] but much less common)
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]/[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]

For Boys:
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_m]Brandon[/name_m]
[name_m]Joel[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Travis[/name_m]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m]

I can’t think of any middle names at the moment aside from the ones I’ve already suggested.
I hope you find the right name! Your children have nice names btw

What about something like

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]

I adore [name_f]Olive[/name_f]…gorgeous!

My vote goes to [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], nn [name_u]Rue[/name_u]. It’s such a great name AND it honors family which for me is a big plus. For a boy I like [name_m]Eli[/name_m], but would prefer it as a nn for [name_u]Elias[/name_u].

Since both [name_m]Xander[/name_m] and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] have Z sounds in their names, what about carrying this on with #3 in some way? [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] (nn [name_m]Oz[/name_m]/[name_m]Ozzy[/name_m]), [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] (nn [name_m]Dez[/name_m]), [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f]), [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]/[name_f]Liza[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f] (nn Ezzie), [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] or [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (nn Iz/[name_f]Izzie[/name_f]), or [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Maisy[/name_f]) all work well.

I would take out [name_f]Destiny[/name_f] and [name_f]Charleigh[/name_f] from your girl names-- they are too trendy and don’t fit with your sibset. [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is fine, but I’d go with [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] as a way to honor.

[name_m]Xander[/name_m] [name_m]Keith[/name_m], [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f], and

[name_u]Arden[/name_u]
[name_f]Melanie[/name_f]
[name_f]Persephone[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]
Laine- nn [name_f]Lainey[/name_f]
[name_f]Bella[/name_f]
[name_f]Kaitlyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Dana[/name_u]

[name_m]Benedict[/name_m]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_m]Fitzwilliam[/name_m]
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u]
[name_m]Moses[/name_m]
[name_m]Joseph[/name_m]
[name_u]Robin[/name_u]

Middle Ideas:
[name_f]Charleigh[/name_f]
[name_u]Rubey[/name_u]
[name_u]Leaf[/name_u]*
[name_u]Dustin[/name_u]
[name_u]Michael[/name_u]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]*
[name_m]Derick[/name_m]
[name_m]George[/name_m]

I am loving [name_m]Derick[/name_m] and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] NN [name_f]Cassie[/name_f]/[name_f]Cassy[/name_f] is adorable too thank you for inspiration!! Would love to use [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] but there is a [name_u]Jayden[/name_u] who is a close cousin but still cute! [name_m]Just[/name_m] to close in sounds i think for cousins. Thank you!!!

I agree with you about [name_f]Destiny[/name_f] and [name_f]Charleigh[/name_f] being too trendy I guess there sort of guilty pleasure names! But I do like your idea of carrying over the “Z” sound. Loving your suggestions of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] , [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] id use middle name [name_u]Jude[/name_u] for [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], love the sound of [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] -both are on my personal favorite list- [name_m]Desmond[/name_m] is interesting too, I think that will grow on me. Thank you for your input!!!

 The part about my name made me smile! I use to not like it growing up but I think my mom did a great job giving me a name usable for all life stages and it actually really does fit me, of course [name_u]Abby[/name_u] is short for [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], I like it a lot now these days! I always get compliments on how pretty and uncommon it is.

I agree with you about [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], seems to be growing for me as a possibility it’s kind of like [name_f]Abigail[/name_f], in the way that it has a cute nickname thats suitable for a little girl and a young or older woman, [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f].
Perhaps [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] ([name_f]Lizzie[/name_f]) [name_f]Grace[/name_f] would be a darling choice!!!
For boys, off your suggestions I adore [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] very much its actually on my top name for boys. I would most likely do [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] for a middle!

Thank you for your sweet comment and all of your suggestions and sharing your thoughts with me!! I appreciate it!!

You’re welcome!
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] really is a lovely combination. Ooh and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is so cute, cool, handsome, you name it, I really like it!

I noticed that you had quite a few patterns between the names that some people picked up on. The first one is 2 syllable first names. Then there’s also the Z sound in both names. Also for the middle names both are 1 syllable, 5 letters, end in -ith as well as the th sound at the end. So you could choose to carry on with one of these patterns up to all of them. For some of the names you listed, [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] can follow because of 2 syllables, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] follows the th ending and sound for the other two middle names. Not that you have to thread the names but just pointing out some patterns in case you wanted them

[name_u]North[/name_u]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
[name_f]Beth[/name_f] (like the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] on your list, or you could still use [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as it honors the family member and has the th ending)

[name_f]Zabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Zabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/a
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_m]Zaden[/name_m]
[name_m]Zane[/name_m]
[name_m]Xavier[/name_m]/[name_m]Zavier[/name_m]
[name_m]Zebediah[/name_m] (idk if I spelled right but not as common as a name)
[name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]/zekiel/zeke
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f]
[name_f]Lisette[/name_f] (2 syl and z sound, not as well known but in my opinion a beautiful name. Pronounced lee-zette)
[name_m]Gatsby[/name_m] (people usually either love or hate it)
[name_f]Zeline[/name_f] (2 syl and z, another uncommon name, pronounces zuh-leen. i think [name_f]Zeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] would be adorable twin names but that’s off topic haha)
[name_m]Zyler[/name_m]
[name_f]Liesl[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_m]Ansel[/name_m]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_f]Liz[/name_f]/[name_f]Lizzie[/name_f] (though could also go as nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f])
[name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]
Kenz/[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u]/[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]
[name_u]Leslie[/name_u]
[name_u]Lindsay[/name_u]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]
[name_f]Susan[/name_f]/[name_f]Suzie[/name_f]
[name_f]Susanne[/name_f]/[name_f]Susanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Topaz[/name_f]
[name_u]James[/name_u]

I think [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] work well because it has the z sound, or could also work in the middle of you wanted a pattern in that because it ends in th light the other two. If you’re looking for z sound in girl names, [name_f]Zeline[/name_f] (Zuh-leen) or [name_f]Lisette[/name_f] (lee-zet) are two with 2 syllables and the z sound

I love [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] (nn [name_u]Rue[/name_u]) for a girl!

My only thing about naming this child after their father is will the first born son wonder why you didn’t name him after Dad. BUT that’s my personal opinion.
I think [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is a great combo, and I think DJ as a NN would be great for a boy!
I do prefer [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] or [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Dustin[/name_u] though.

Other Suggestions:
Girls:
[name_f]Gracelyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Millie[/name_f])
[name_f]Carolina[/name_f]
[name_f]Joelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]

Boys:
[name_m]Duncan[/name_m]
[name_m]Deacon[/name_m]
[name_m]Gavin[/name_m]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_m]Abel[/name_m]
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_m]Preston[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]

I prefer [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] to [name_f]Olive[/name_f] if I’m honest, though I think [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is sweet if you want a more unusual approach. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] is a nice nickname for both.
I do adore [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] even though its super common, though [name_u]Rue[/name_u] is a lovely idea for a nickname and if its honouring family then all the more reason to use it
Not a huge fan of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], its very old fashioned, especially next to [name_m]Xander[/name_m] and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f].
[name_f]Destiny[/name_f] - I’ve never liked [name_f]Destiny[/name_f]. Its too “teen-mum” ish.
[name_f]Charleigh[/name_f] -I love the name [name_u]Charly[/name_u] but with the -leigh spelling it looks too false. Sorry.

[name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_m]Micheal[/name_m] [name_m]Jr[/name_m]. -[name_u]Dustin[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is a gorgeous name! Would it be confusing though having your son and partner with the same name?
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] nn [name_m]Eli[/name_m] - so cute!
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] - not a fan.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Charleigh[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u]?
Or [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]?
