Name for baby #4

Now that baby #3 is almost a year old, I’m starting to think about #4 and looking for names that will flow well with my current kiddos. My three children are

[name]Alexander[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] (nn [name]Xander[/name])
[name]Madelyn[/name] [name]Esther[/name] (nn [name]Maddy[/name])
[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Susan[/name] (nn [name]Vivi[/name])

I’m looking for boy and girl names for my list. Right now I only have a couple that I think go well with my other kids

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] (nn [name]Liza[/name])
[name]Miriam[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (nn [name]Mimi[/name] – but is [name]Miriam[/name] too similar to [name]Madelyn[/name]?)

[name]Sebastian[/name] [name]James[/name] (nn [name]Bastian[/name])
[name]Theodore[/name] [name]Aaron[/name] (nn [name]Theo[/name])

Other thoughts? Thanks for the input!

Your names are lovely. I like how classic sounding [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is, and I like nn [name]Mimi[/name]. Your boy’s names are good too. I don’t know, pick the one you like the best, they are all good!

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is lovely, but a little plain next to [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Louise[/name], in my opinion. I prefer [name]Miriam[/name], especially for the spunky nickname [name]Mimi[/name] and do not find it to be at all similar to [name]Madelyn[/name]. The only similarity to me is the shared M.

[name]Sebastian[/name] [name]James[/name] is a good name, but [name]Theodore[/name] is my absolute favorite name in the world, so that would be my pick :slight_smile: Though I prefer the nn [name]Teddy[/name] to [name]Theo[/name], which seems too popular to me now as opposed to [name]Teddy[/name] which reminds me of [name]Teddy[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name] from [name]Little[/name] Woman and [name]Teddy[/name] [name]Roosevelt[/name], who was a pretty cool guy!

I think [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Louise[/name] or [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Aaron[/name] would be excellent with your children’s names. [name]Miriam[/name] and [name]Madelyn[/name] are similar in that they both start with an “M” and are three syllables long. They have different sounds though, so I don’t think it’s a big deal.

I love [name]Aaron[/name] as a middle name. [name]Aaron[/name] is unexpected and pleasing as a middle name to [name]Theodore[/name]; both are handsome choices.

Thanks for the opinions! I’m glad you like the names I’m considering so far. I would like to expand my list, too – does anyone have other suggestions for me?
