We are expecting baby #4. Actually I am past due. I had solid names picked for my last three within days of conceiving. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Immanuel[/name_m], Ellora [name_f]Lina[/name_f] Raechelle, and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] Psalm [name_u]Zion[/name_u]. I had my girl names picked at age 11 actually.
This time is totally different! I have had the hardest time finding something with the perfet combination of sounds we like, strong and significant meanings, family connections and uniqueness (without being weird).
So give me your thoughts! The final two contenders for names are Evanie [name_f]Nessa[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or just [name_f]Nessa[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
[name_u]Evan[/name_u] (the official name) is the Welsh version of [name_m]John[/name_m] (deceased father). It is also Hebrew for [name_m]Stone[/name_m] - and I love the strength it implies. We would call her Evanie all the time.
[name_f]Nessa[/name_f] is from the Hebrew Neis, meaning miracle or wonder. If we use this as a first name, the name [name_u]Evan[/name_u]/Evanie doesn’t seem to fit anywhere.
