I am expecting a little girl any day now, and would love opinions! We have a short list we have a daughter [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], love [name_m]French[/name_m] and British names. Middle will be my last name ([name_m]French[/name_m], two syllables) which is a family tradition. Here are my ideas:
My favorite with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] from your list is [name_f]Camille[/name_f] but my first thoughts for you are [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] or [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], and I think it complements [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] quite well. I also like [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], but they feel a little “underwhelming” next to [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], if you get what I mean?
I love that you have [name_u]Simone[/name_u] on your list. That name is so under appreciated these days! It feels very classy to me.
My favorites from your list are [name_u]Simone[/name_u], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], but I agree with the previous poster that they feel “underwhelming” next to [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. I don’t know why. I adore [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], but [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] feels a bit cutesy to me. ([name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] would be stunning together though.)
I think sibling pairing wise, I really like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] & [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] the best.
Oh definitely [name_u]Simone[/name_u]. I adore that name, and is so sweet with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. If not, I do also like [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], although I think [name_u]Simone[/name_u] has much more character than either of those choices (although they are also lovely names).
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is my clear favorite from your list! I also like [name_u]Simone[/name_u] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], but [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] have the same British, regal, strong, cultured feel imo. Both also have a ton of nickname options if that’s something you’re into, the same length.
Ooh, [name_u]Simone[/name_u]! I love it, and it’s perfection with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is nice and very classic/classy, but feels a bit plain beside [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] to me.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Camille[/name_f] and [name_f]Celine[/name_f] would be my other picks from your list - also beautiful, chic, unexpected choices.
