I’d love some opinions about the following name combinations, we’re between:
Adelaide Charlotte June
Adelaide June Charlotte
or
Arwen Charlotte June
Arwen June Charlotte
- We’re fine with the LOTR reference, because my husband and I both love the movies and actually watched them for our first date!
- We’re doing two middle names, Charlotte from my husband’s side (grandmother’s name) and June from my side (my mom’s middle name). Plus, where we used to go on our first dates was on Charlotte street in the town we live in — I just love all the meaning behind it!
Thanks!!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is gorgeous!
Both [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] and [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] are beautiful! But, since [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] is higher up my list, I’m going to say [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]. Although, for both, if the surname is only one syllable, I’d use [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]/[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], if not, [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]/ [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u], just for a better flow. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helped!
Thanks! Last name is Bookhout
I love both names, with a slight preference for [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] just because I am a huge Tolkien fan.
Personally I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] has a better ring than [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], for either FN.
I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] as well.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]! Only my personal preference, but I prefer [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] or [name_u]June[/name_u] as first names and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] or [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] even better. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] Bookh0ut is nice though.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] are both so lovely! [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is one of my favorite classic names (and I love all the adorable nickname possibilities), and I’m a huge Tolkien lover, so I think [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] is also great. I love that someone wants to use one of them as a first name! I think that with both names the flow is slightly better with [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] as the first middle name, and for that reason I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] just a little better (because the “ar” sound repetitions in [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] are a tad too close together for me). But both are beautiful and you really can’t go wrong.
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]! I like that she won’t be one in a sea of [name_f]Addie[/name_f]'s out there! And I prefer the sound of [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] more than [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] with the last name, too. Beautiful choice!
For me [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
I prefer [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] to [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and it flows better than [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is perfect! So lovely.
I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] a lot! I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] are brilliant middles for either of them. I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] slightly better, but I think [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is really pretty, too.
I guess it would depend on nns for me? I slightly prefer [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], as I said, but I love the nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u], and I would be swayed to [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] if that was an option. I like a lot of [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]'s nns, though–[name_f]Addy[/name_f], [name_u]Dell/name_u, [name_f]Aida[/name_f], even the strange® Elaida (not a huge [name_f]Ada[/name_f] fan, but it’s still a nice option, too, and I think Lady’s sort of cute for a little girl. I’ve also heard of [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] nn [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is to die for!). As far as [name_u]Ari[/name_u] goes, though, I may have to retract it, because if it were down to [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] “[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]” and [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] “[name_u]Ari[/name_u]”, I’m pretty sure I’d still pick [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]! I love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] a lot as a nn.
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] !
