I’m writing a story about a girl who is murdered by her closest friend. She is reincarnated with all of the memories of her past life and it’s up to her to bring her murderer to justice. I need a name for the girl she used to me. Her name in her new life is [name]Angelina[/name] [name]Winslow[/name]. Her old last name was [name]Roth[/name]. I’m looking for a beautiful name with a misfortunate association to it.

My favorite of these is [name]Mallory[/name]. [name]Mallory[/name] [name]Roth[/name] flows well, and unlucky would aptly describe someone murdered by a close friend. Though night monster certainly has it’s perks, haha, but the double ‘th’ with [name]Roth[/name] makes the name too repetitive and soft, I think.

For this, I think my favorite would be [name]DEsdemona[/name], which is a Shakespearean name which means “ill-starred” and has a super tragic backstory. [name]Desdemona[/name] [name]Roth[/name] sounds really cool.

I think it’s unusual and cool, not heard of before, but not as recognizable so far as the “unfortuate meaning” thing goes. Desmona’s cool, but it doesn’t hhave quite the same meaning, and people might not connect the two in their minds. I’d still use it if you really like it, just a thought that you might want to take into considersation.

I like [name]Renee[/name] a lot, and [name]Renee[/name] [name]Roth[/name] sounds cool. The Rs don;t run together, but they are alliterate enough to sound cool. I also like [name]Anastasia[/name], I think that is probably the best suggestion so far. I might just be biased because I really like the name [name]Anastasia[/name], though.

I agree that [name]Mallory[/name] would be an appropriate choice. There is also [name]Mara[/name], which means “bitter,” [name]Lola[/name] is “lady of sorrows,” and [name]Deirdre[/name] means “sorrowful.” I personally think [name]Deirdre[/name] [name]Roth[/name] flows nicely. Good luck!
