So I’ve been having trouble with deciding the name for [name_f]Lina[/name_f]'s brother for about a full day now.
[name_f]Lina[/name_f] and her brother are twins, and they’re actually nephilims, which is the result of an angel and a human having a kid. Their mother’s name, who is the angel, is [name_f]Dina[/name_f] with no surname and their father is named [name_m]Aleksandr[/name_m]. They were born in [name_f]Russia[/name_f].
Describing her brother, he seems nice and friendly at first but when you actually get to know him, he’s completely power-hungry and a control freak, he wants to be in control all the time. He’s quite abusive and manipulative towards his sister, and he’s not exactly what you would call a good guy.
I’ve considered naming him [name_m]Alexei[/name_m] and [name_m]Sergei[/name_m], but I wasn’t sure if I should’ve stuck with either of them.
Please don’t suggest any names that are extremely common in [name_f]Russia[/name_f] like [name_m]Vladimir[/name_m] or Vsevolod!
I would rather if his name was Russian, and I’d appreciate it more if his name had a meaning relevant to his personality, or even associated with nature! (He has powers centered around plants) It’s okay to suggest middle names too!

[name_m]Anatoly[/name_m] is my favorite Russian male name, and it means sunrise. Nature related, I suppose, but maybe not the best meaning for his personality.
I’ll admit I’m not very familiar with very many Russian names so I apologize if these names are too common for your character.
I’m also going to second cricketbell’s suggestion of [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m]! [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] is related to [name_m]Demetrius[/name_m], “follower of [name_u]Demeter[/name_u]” according to Nameberry. [name_u]Demeter[/name_u] is the Ancient Greek goddess of agriculture and harvest so I love this name for your character!
[name_u]Konstantin[/name_u]- related to “constant” which could make sense for a control freak character.
[name_m]Vasili[/name_m]- related to the name [name_m]Basil[/name_m] which means king (good for the power-hungry part of his personality) but also has the plant connotation (a subtle nod to his powers).
[name_m]Vitaly[/name_m]- means vital or life, which could be connected to his nature-related powers.
[name_m]Yuri[/name_m]- the Russian form of [name_m]George[/name_m] (according to Behind the Name), which means farmer.
[name_m]Yuri[/name_m] is such a great name too! I think you should consider [name_m]Dimitri[/name_m] and [name_m]Yuri[/name_m]
