Name for my main character

I’m writing a novel and have been struggling with naming my main character. Originally it was [name]Bella[/name], but then Twilight happened and it because very over-used.

My character is a seventeen-year-old girl who is rather quiet, but in her mind out-spoken. Her family has many problems and because of this she doesn’t have many friends because the other students think she is weird. She doesn’t speak that often, but has an opinion about everything in her mind.

She has a twin brother named [name]Casey[/name], but she calls him [name]Case[/name]. And an older brother named [name]Ross[/name]. Those names are very common, just like her brothers. Her character is more complex than these two so I want her to have a more unique name.

She is of short stature, but slim, and has dark hair with pale blue eyes.

My first thought was [name]Layla[/name], but I don’t know if that’s unique enough.

What about [name]Stella[/name]? Same feel and sound as [name]Bella[/name], much more unexpected in my opinion!

Well with twins, and a mother who named one of them [name]Casey[/name] the other would probably at least go with that. Especially with a name like [name]Ross[/name] as a sibling. It’s not like people name their kids [name]Casey[/name], [name]Ross[/name], and [name]Seraphina[/name]. It would probably be something either traditional or trendy, and with an S in it, very likely starting with a C.

I actually know twins named [name]Cassidy[/name] and [name]Chaz[/name]. What about something kinda regular where she picks a unique nickname for herself? [name]Chaz[/name] ([name]Chastity[/name]), [name]Samy[/name]/[name]Mandy[/name] ([name]Samantha[/name]), [name]Libby[/name] ([name]Elisabeth[/name]), [name]Drea[/name]/[name]Andy[/name] ([name]Cassandra[/name]), [name]Cay[/name] ([name]Caitlyn[/name]), Chel ([name]Chelsea[/name]), [name]Rissa[/name] ([name]Clarissa[/name])

I thought of [name]Constance[/name], [name]Danica[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name]. I also like the idea of [name]Violet[/name].

Well, one way to name her is to put yourself into her parents shoes and think about why they chose they names for their kids that they did.

[name]Andromeda[/name] and [name]Casey[/name] doesn’t fit in a sibset, let alone as twins.

Perhaps something that gives off a quiet feel:
[name]Phoebe[/name]
[name]Melanie[/name]
[name]Elaine[/name]
[name]Hanna[/name]
[name]Elise[/name]
[name]Elsa[/name]

I like [name]Ross[/name], [name]Elsa[/name] and [name]Casey[/name].
