Name for my newest book MC

I’m writing a book about a girl who has the same mysterious sickness that her father died from and I can’t find a good name for her. She’s in 10th grade and is stuck repeating the grade because of the sickness.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you know anything else? Location/nationality, time period, anything about her appearance or personality (not things I would use but some people may find it helpful)?

[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought was naming her something that means life or resurrection — for example, an [name_f]Eve[/name_f] name for life or [name_f]Renee[/name_f] for rebirth — but that’s just me and without any other context it’s a bit awkward to actually suggest something.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m a bit of a clutz today and the details slipped my mind. She lives in the U.K but her family is from Nepal, the time is present day. She’s a small black girl, has the tips of her short, dark black, hair bleached and dyed green, she has odd grey-purple eyes, like’s vintage clothing.

[name_f]An[/name_f] interesting character backstory! Really gets you thinkin’ about fitting names, given her background. Anyways, here’s some options derived from both her Nepalese heritage and popular contemporary names:

Nepalese names:
-Dilamay.
-Kumari.
-Mira.
-Maya/Maiya.

UK names:
-Amelia.
-Arabella.
-Araminta.
-Beatrice/Beatrix.
-Bellatrix.
-Charlotte.
-Cressida.
-Darcy.
-Delaney.
-Duvessa.
-Elodie.
-Phoebe.
-Primrose.
-Imogene.
-Matilda.
-Naomi.
-Ottilie.
-Octavia.
-Romilly.
-Rhiannon.
-Gwendolyn.
-Sabrina.
-Tabitha.
-Jessamine.
-Jocasta.
-Vanessa.
-Zenobia.

Thank you! This will get me thinking for a long time, and hopefully on the right path. Thinking of going with [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Maya[/name_f], [name_f]Mira[/name_f], Dilamay, [name_f]Eve[/name_f], or -one that I found- [name_f]Riva[/name_f].
