[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! My husband and I are expecting our second son and last child in late [name_u]August[/name_u]/early [name_f]September[/name_f]. His big sister’s name is [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] and his older brother is [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m] (pronounced [name_m]Rome[/name_m]-er). We like unique, non-religious (there are a few exceptions), and spell-able names. Here are a few names we are looking at right now:
[name_m]Louie[/name_m]-classy, but too well-known, also the royal family used the same pronunciation but with a different spelling
[name_u]August[/name_u]- very gentle name, cute nn “[name_u]Gus[/name_u]”, but well-known
Ender- love the meaning of this name (“unique”), and it’s connection to the book, but we don’t want 2 names ending in -er, also I fell like it’s getting more and more popular but I may be wrong
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u]- love the name, but we don’t want 2 names starting with “Roh”
[name_m]Peter[/name_m]- love the name, too common, will probably use it as a middle name
We are open to any suggestions, comments, ideas, etc!
Ender is my favorite on your list for you. It has the same feel as both [name_f]Kaya[/name_f] and [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m].

Wow, you have some really great options for the new baby. I love all the names you listed.
I don’t think [name_u]August[/name_u] is as well-known, but that could just be my area. You could always go with [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] or [name_m]Augustin[/name_m]!
Lewin, or something like that might be unique enough to still give you [name_m]Louie[/name_m]. It’s an old Anglo-[name_m]Saxon[/name_m] name that could really work with [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m] and [name_f]Kaya[/name_f].
As for Ender, it’s not in the top 1000, so it’s really not easy to say where it falls on the list. But I think it’s safe to say it’s fairly unpopular. Unless, apparently, you live in Turkey! I could see how an -er name would be something you may not want to choose given [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m]'s name. Endy might be an option, even though I totally just made it up. Which makes me think of [name_f]Indy[/name_f]. Other similar sounding names to Ender: [name_m]Hendrik[/name_m], Kendry, [name_u]Wendell[/name_u], and if -ers is enough of a difference, [name_m]Anders[/name_m] might be a nice option! But I say if you love it, you should go with it anyway. Most of their life they’ll be know as Ender So-and-So, not necessarily as Ender, brother of [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m].
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u]… so delicious. Could be [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Roan[/name_u], or you could just leave it if it’s pronounced roe-HAN, because [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m]'s name doesn’t pronounce the H. Although [name_u]Rohan[/name_u] and [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m] is a bit closer than Ender and [name_m]Rohmer[/name_m]. Perhaps Lowan?
I love [name_m]Peter[/name_m], too, but I get the popularity issue there, sigh. Maybe an international version of the name? 47 Variations of Peter | Nameberry
From your list, I like Ender or [name_u]August[/name_u]. I don’t [name_u]August[/name_u] is a “well-known” name at all. In fact, I don’t recall ever meeting an [name_u]August[/name_u]. [name_u]Gus[/name_u] is a really cute nn!
In the vein of Ender, what about:
[name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_u]Calder[/name_u]
[name_m]Wilder[/name_m]
[name_m]Riordan[/name_m] (Reer-den)
[name_m]Crosby[/name_m]
