Name for Si/Cy?

My husband and I have been struggling to find a name we both agree on, and we finally might be onto something.

We both like the nn [name_u]Si[/name_u] or [name_m]Cy[/name_m]. While I really like [name_m]Simon[/name_m], my husband hates it. None of the other names on the list suit our tastes.

So far we have:
[name_m]Simon[/name_m]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_m]Josiah[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
[name_f]Cypress[/name_f]

Am I missing anything?

[name_m]Cyprian[/name_m]/[name_m]Cyprien[/name_m], [name_m]Cyprus[/name_m], [name_u]Cyan[/name_u], [name_m]Cyril[/name_m].

[name_m]Sylvan[/name_m], maybe? [name_u]Sidney[/name_u] could probably work too. The sound isn’t there, as such, but the letters are.

[name_m]Osiris[/name_m], maybe? I quite like [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] too!

[name_m]Sirius[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyran[/name_m]

What about [name_m]Cecil[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Cy[/name_m]? It doesn’t have the overt “si” sound in the name, but I think that it would be a cute nickname for [name_m]Cecil[/name_m].

Sylar
[name_u]Cyan[/name_u]

I think [name_m]Sy[/name_m] is used as a nickname for [name_m]Seymour[/name_m], if that’s a name you’d be into. I think it could also work for [name_m]Sylvester[/name_m].

There’s also [name_m]Syrus[/name_m]. I know you’re not totally sold on [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], but maybe a change in spelling would interest you.

It might be a stretch, but I think [name_m]Sayer[/name_m] “[name_m]Sy[/name_m]” could be another interesting choice.

If anything, I think [name_m]Sy[/name_m]/ [name_m]Cy[/name_m] can work as a name on its own. Either spelling are handsome in their own right, and the name has a nice ring to it. Cool, yet classic.
