Name for Sister of MC

Hello!
I hope everyone is doing well!

I’m currently writing a coming of age/YA story, setting is [name_m]Germany[/name_m], 2010s, written in [name_m]German[/name_m].
I know that names used in [name_m]Germany[/name_m] are pronounced differently than in [name_f]English[/name_f] speaking countries and that might influence your opinion on the names but I just thought I’d give it a shot to see what you think and if you have any ideas.

The MC is Leonie, nn [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and she is the middle sister, her younger sister is Sophie but with the older sister I’m drawing a blank…right now she is [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f], nn [name_f]Magda[/name_f] but that doesn’t feel right…

What I’m searching for is a name that fits nicely with the other two sisters, something that feels solid and somehow timeless and not over the top since I feel that would have been important to their [name_m]German[/name_m], middle class parents in the naming process.

It can be longer/have more syllables or be frilly but then it would need to have a good nn.
(I always name sibling characters how I think their parents would have done but take into account that they can chose nn that fit their personalities, in this case she is a carefree, self-confident and loud/boisterous character, kind of tomboyish so a short nn reflecting that might suit her.)

I went through the top names of her birth year like a thousand times but nothing really sticks…
The ones I liked the most and considered were:

Marlene but couldn’t come up with a good nn because she doesn’t seem like a [name_f]Leni[/name_f] or [name_f]Marli[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f], nn [name_u]Caro[/name_u]
[name_f]Verena[/name_f], no nn

I’m grateful for any idea or new nn’s to add to the names!

Thank you for your help!

How about Adelaide with the NN Ada

Or Annelise and Ana/Liesel
Clara
Emilia

I also think Josephine Josie or Joan could work.
Constance/Connie

Gosh I love [name_m]Germany[/name_m]. And the names there. How about…

Marie
[name_f]Luisa[/name_f] “[name_f]Lulu[/name_f]” (love this one)
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_u]Misha[/name_u]

Thank you very much for your responses, I appreciate all your suggestions!

I hadn’t thought of Anneliese, that is an interesting suggestion because the name is considered old-fashioned in [name_m]Germany[/name_m] but I like it and it could work in my setting with nn [name_f]Anni[/name_f](e), [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or similar!

I like Josephine/Josefine and the nn options so it’s on the list now too!

And Marie is a classic that I had only considered briefly but it does fit in nicely with the sisters so it’s back on the list!

Clara, [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] are beautiful and I love those names but they don’t really feel like her…
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Constance[/name_f] are great too but don’t work quite as well in [name_m]Germany[/name_m]!
[name_u]Misha[/name_u] (or [name_u]Mischa[/name_u] as it would be used in [name_m]Germany[/name_m]) is too close to another character named [name_u]Sascha[/name_u]!

Thank you!
