[name_u]Baby[/name_u] number three, on routeeeee!!! We just found out yesterday so we are only 4 weeks along and yet to know gender, but naturally I’m getting giddy and already thinking about names.
We have two daughters. Their names are [name_f]Leni[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] and Ru [name_f]Ines[/name_f] (Ru is very unheard of and we get a lot of questions about it. It’s not short for anything- it is her full, legal name. We were going to name her [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and have Ru be her nickname but then found ourselves persistently wanting everyone to address her as just Ru and not actually use Ruth… so we wound up naming her Ru. We figured why name her something else if we don’t actually want people to call her that. It also worked out nicely because my fav name was [name_u]Lou[/name_u] but I was adamant to not have two L names, knowing we’d have a third. So Ru is basically [name_u]Lou[/name_u] but with an R . We love it and think it’s very unique, and we call her Ruru. If she grows up hating her name or feeling like it will hinder her professionally for some silly reason, she can go by her middle name, Ines).
Congratulations on your exciting news! [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite fem name is [name_f]Petra[/name_f], which I’ve been absolutely loving lately and I like most with [name_f]Leni[/name_f] and Ru. [name_m]Xever[/name_m] is new to me, is it right that it’s pronounced Ze-ver, with the first ‘e’ being a short sound as in ‘met’? I think [name_f]Leni[/name_f], Ru and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] would be adorable.
Ahhh yes!!! There was so much deliberation and build up it wound up being such a natural, in the moment decision, which usually isn’t my style but it’s been cool! We’ve really leaned into Ru and think it’s fun and of course now can’t picture her as anything else
Your girls names are impeccable! [name_f]Leni[/name_f] and Ru are such stylish sisters. From your list I’d name their sister [name_u]Ezer[/name_u] and their brother either [name_m]Otto[/name_m] or [name_m]Xever[/name_m].

[name_f]Petra[/name_f] feels bold, quirky and a little bit hipster she wears oversized kooky glasses, doc martens with floral dresses. [name_f]Petra[/name_f] would definitely be cool enough to fit in with sisters L3ni + R.u.
[name_m]Otto[/name_m] is so sweet, outdoorsy and nostalgic. I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] has the right adorable factor to match with his sisters. I think [name_m]Otto[/name_m] is lovely!
