Ok, so I’ve got a chick who’s a manipulative sadist and I need a name for her. She’s the antagonist of the story, and it’s set in the future but I wanted something maybe greek but very harsh sounding. [name]Justine[/name] and [name]Sabine[/name] caught my eye, but I wasn’t so sure. Any ideas?

Wow. I’m literally stunned by how perfect all these names are. I’m settled on [name]Phaedra[/name] for her, due to three factors: When I googled the pronunciation I found a song “Some [name]Velvet[/name] [name]Morning[/name]”- which isn’t my genre but I thought the lyrics were very interesting and suiting. My [name]Phaedra[/name] eventually became the brutal manipulative person she is after years of abuse, and the song depicts [name]Nancy[/name] Sinatra’s [name]Phaedra[/name] as a innocent, gentle maiden who a ‘dark’ man fell for. Which is also how my [name]Phaedra[/name]'s story starts out. The myth of [name]Phaedra[/name] also made it perfect. The greek [name]Phaedra[/name] gets back at the man who rejected her by lying that he raped her, which eventually gets him killed by the gods. [name]Even[/name] though that story isn’t as similar as the song (a very eerie song, to add), the violent sort of cunning the greek [name]Phaedra[/name] possesses is one in common with my [name]Phaedra[/name]. Plus, it sounds pretty intriguing and badass.
I will definitely be using some of these others for some characters- [name]Carine[/name] and [name]Xanthe[/name] are definitely some that stood out.
