I love so many of these!! And Winrey is an adorable name too! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Winrey & [name_m]Foster[/name_m] go great together!

Miller, [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u] or [name_m]Felix[/name_m] would be great!

I voted for [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_u]Alden[/name_u], [name_m]Felix[/name_m], & [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], but [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] is easily my favorite. [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] & [name_u]Max[/name_u] would be so adorable together!

I voted [name_u]Alder[/name_u]. [name_u]Love[/name_u] love love this name

I chose [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u], [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u], [name_m]Roland[/name_m] and [name_u]Miller[/name_u]
Any of these would be wonderful with Winrey

Well, that was difficult to choose!

I’m just going to give you my favorite to least favorite rankings and thoughts. So many great choices!

Alden-I wouldn’t say it’s my absolute favorite on the list, but it’s my favorite that’s also as interesting of a name as Winrey. It’s just soft, thoughtful, but still kind of outdoorsy. It also sounds old fashioned. It’s really simple yet really unique. Has all of the good qualities! And if you want a nn, I think that [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] & [name_m]Ace[/name_m] would be so cute.

August-This may be my favorite in general from the list, but I’m hearing it more these days & it’s because a bit less special. It’s still a great name. It’s like [name_u]Alden[/name_u] in that it sounds vintage. It’s smart & gentle, but outdoorsy too. [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] & [name_m]Augie[/name_m] or [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] & [name_u]Gus[/name_u] are perfect.

Maxwell-This is just the right amount of quirky & charming. It’s simple, smart & friendly. I love the sporty sophisticated vibe of [name_u]Max[/name_u]. It is really popular, unfortunately.

Milo-So sweet. It’s quiet yet spunky at the same time. It’s simple & old fashioned. Gaining popularity a bit, but not too bad. Goes well w/Winnie.

Sullivan-It’s not my absolute favorite name, but I think that it evokes a similar vibe as Winrey. Plus, [name_u]Sully[/name_u] is adorable.

Nicholas-It’s a handsome solid classic, but just kind of over done that past 40 years. That’s a long time! Sounds a bit dated. I do love the nns [name_u]Nico[/name_u], [name_m]Cole[/name_m] or [name_m]Nils[/name_m].

Simon-Really cute & classic. I kind of like it, but some days I feel like it sounds geeky.

Sawyer-I like it, because it gives me a cool cowboy vibe. And then sometimes I am lukewarm to it, because it gives me a snobby prep school boy vibe. [name_m]Can[/name_m]’t explain that one, though.

Foster-Doesn’t do much for me, but it’s fine.

Wallace-I think it’s interesting & definitely old man-ish. Which is fun. But I just don’t love the sound. It reminds me of walrus.

Roscoe-It’s different & sort of exotic. [name_m]Just[/name_m] can’t get into it.

Felix-I don’t hate it, but it just sounds a teeny bit goofy.

Roland-It’s fine, but doesn’t do much for me.

Shepherd-It has a nice sound, but too much of a word & not as much of a name. It totally is a name. I just can’t personally get used to it as one.

Adler-Not sure why, but I don’t care for the way this sounds.

Remington-This is too stuffy, even though I think that [name_u]Remy[/name_u] is dashing.

Miller-Meh. It’s just a beer name & a last name. I don’t care for it for a boy fn.

Hope this helps.

Winrey and [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u]!!!

I also think [name_u]Alden[/name_u], Sullivan, [name_u]Alder[/name_u] and [name_u]Miller[/name_u] go really well. I think you need something cool and surprising to go with [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]’s quirky name.

Big congratulations by the way :tada:

So many good choices!
I voted for [name_u]August[/name_u], [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m], and [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u].
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_m]Foster[/name_m] is the character in [name_m]Tuck[/name_m] Everlasting. It’s a good association, but I don’t like [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] and [name_m]Foster[/name_m] together because it’s the name of a character.

That was my initial thought to [name_m]Foster[/name_m].
Some people might associate [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] & [name_m]Foster[/name_m] with the Character [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] [name_m]Foster[/name_m]… she was a good character though, but still.

I think [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] are lovely together!!

Thanks for the input. I hadn’t thought of the tuck everlasting connection, I’ll have to think about that and decide if it bothers me, [name_m]Foster[/name_m] is probably my second favorite.
[name_f]My[/name_f] personal top would be [name_u]Alden[/name_u], however I’m afraid he’ll spend his life saying ‘no my name is not [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]’ AND he’ll also have a close cousin named [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]…so maybe not? Idk
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] was top of my list if [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] had been a boy, however I just had a close cousin use it as a middle for their baby last month and for them it’s a family name so I’d feel a little guilty about using it (though they knew we were considering it before they had their babe)
[name_u]Roscoe[/name_u] I feel best matches Winrey’s quirkiness and style but I don’t know if I love it.
[name_u]Miller[/name_u] I really want to love I love it’s sound and simplicity, and it’s a family name to boot, however every time I hear it I think of [name_u]Miller[/name_u] lite, and I don’t even drink so I can only imagine what would go through high schoolers minds.
The others are all names I like but none of them feel quite right.

Also I forgot to add Gresham to the pole, it’s another one that’s been top on my list for awhile. And I feel like it would match with Winrey, however it’s a pretty unique name that I’ve never really heard even mentioned on this site, but I know someone who used it for their baby boy (of course it’s been 4 or so years). I had it on my list before they used it and We’re not close with them but I have family who are and I can’t decide if it’s would be weird.

Maybe I’m overthinking all of this but gosh boys names are hard. Part of me hopes this baby will be a girl just to save us from trying to find a boy name we like!

Sawyer, [name_m]Roland[/name_m], and [name_u]Remington[/name_u] were top 3 on your list

Harland “[name_m]Hank[/name_m]”, [name_u]Leland[/name_u] “[name_m]Leo[/name_m]”, & [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] “[name_u]Gus[/name_u]” also came to mind.
