I’m still early in my pregnancy, but like most expectant mother’s I can’t think of much else. And right now baby names are on my brain. Growing up, I’ve only ever really loved ONE girl name. I’ve loved it for YEARS!!! [name_f]Millicent[/name_f]. I love it’s old fashion feel and I love how it sounds strong, but feminine. [name_f]My[/name_f] SO isn’t so sold on it. And frankly neither am I anymore combined with our last name. That being said, I have also recently fallen in love with [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]. He still thinks it sounds like an old lady… I like old fashion. Plus it’s gaining popularity fast, thanks to celebs that are using it… in one form or another. We do have a few boys names we toss around too, but mostly family names.

I want my children to have something strong, unique, but not so unique they always have to explain their name. LOL!!!

We have a daughter (well she’s my step daughter, but i love her as my own) named [name_f]Kalista[/name_f]. And I think it’s important to find something that fits with that. Our last name starts with K (although sounds like N) so I am reluctant to do a Kardashian thing… I personally think her name is beautiful, but I wouldn’t want a [name_f]Kalista[/name_f] and a [name_f]Keira[/name_f]! [name_m]Just[/name_m] seems too much to me… [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

If you have any inspiration feel free to share! I’m not looking for digs at the names I like, just ideas of where to start to find more that we may like! Notice I have ONE girl name that is even on the list…

I think [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] and [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] are beautiful. [name_f]Millie[/name_f] or [name_f]Viv[/name_f] are such cute nicknames also.

What about [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]? I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] goes great with [name_f]Kalista[/name_f] and it also has the classic feel that you like. I think [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] could be a cute choice also.

I like [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] a lot. I also think the nn [name_f]Milly[/name_f] is cute. Not sure about [name_f]Kalista[/name_f] and [name_f]Milly[/name_f] together though. :frowning:

I’m really loving [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] these days too! I might love [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] and [name_f]Viveca[/name_f] even more. I think [name_f]Viva[/name_f] would be a great nn. I love that it means Life! [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]? [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]? Beautiful!

[name_u]Corbin[/name_u] is great! I also like it spelled [name_u]Corben[/name_u].

I prefer [name_u]Cal[/name_u] to [name_m]Cale[/name_m]. I would use it as a nn for [name_m]Callum[/name_m].

[name_u]Arlo[/name_u] is great too! Might be my favorite of the boys.

Not a fan of [name_m]Jackson[/name_m].
