Having a tough time deciding on baby boy’s name, due in a few weeks. We are very concerned about top 10 popularity risk and would feel more comfortable w/ a name not in top 100. Siblings are [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and [name_u]Tait[/name_u]. Current top choices are [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] with [name_m]Zachary[/name_m] as a distant 3rd
I think we have recently ruled out [name_m]Casper[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m]. We love [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] but it is too popular. And we have an Irish last name.
Middle name will be [name_m]William[/name_m].

Thanks for all the feedback; we would love some followup help. Interestingly, many of these unusual suggestions were on our short list at one point but disn’t work for various reasons. Due date is now <2 wks and we are still undecided. Now choosing btwn Sebastian, Caleb and Julian. Nicknames may make or break us. We don’t like Seb for Sebastian but have decided on Bash(or Bashy for a little kid). For Caleb we love Cal (hate Cale/Kale). Problem is my daughter often goes by Ali and we live in CA. DH doesn’t think this is an issue but I am worried about Ali/Cali confusion or mocking. Julian we like; i don’t like Jules but I don’t think Julian needs to be shortened. Any thought or experiences w/ these nanes are much appreciated!
