Name help for first girl after 3 boys: Eloise vs Elodie vs?

I have 3 boys [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_m]Coen[/name_m], and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]. Would either [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] or [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] be a good fit for sister? I’m having a really hard time despite loving so many girl names before when I didn’t need one. I feel pressure to find a perfectly girly name but have it fit with her older brothers’ names as well. I’ve wanted to use [name_f]Katalin[/name_f], a very special family name, as a middle name for our daughter since we conceived our first son. DH is onboard with that but we are struggling to agree on first names. Is [name_f]Kate[/name_f] better than [name_f]Katalin[/name_f]? Which is better:

[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f]
[name_f]Daria[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f]
some other combo of these or any name suggestions that work well with big brothers names?

So excited to finally pick a girl name that I’m ironically at a loss and feel overwhelmed by all the choices. Thanks for any advice!

I like [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], good luck!

[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] get my vote.

If my son was a girl, he would have been [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]. I love [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]

I love both [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], but I like [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] more. Dislike both [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Katalin[/name_f], prefer [name_f]Katerina[/name_f] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] is OK name, no matter what.

I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f]! I think you should totally use [name_f]Katalin[/name_f], no matter what the first name is. It’s unique and important to your family, which is great.

P.S. I think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] sounds great too.

I love both, but I think [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] is beautiful. Also, what about [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]?

[name_f]Katalin[/name_f] really is a very special name to me. It’s just Hungarian and I’m afraid to use it as a first name (which DH suggested once) because it sounds very different with English pronunciation. We’ve also passed on family names as middle names for all 3 boys so it’s our tradition now. I just wasn’t sure if [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] was too much. As in long first and middle name. Thanks :).

[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] is beautiful! I do not see the appeal of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].

Thanks for all the opinions! We are stuck in a rut. I won’t lie, it makes me pretty happy no one chose [name_f]Daria[/name_f]…DH is pushing that one strong and it just doesn’t work for me.

I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]! [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] is fabulous. If you don’t like [name_f]Daria[/name_f], definitely don’t use it! Especially because it’s so strongly associated with a well-known animated TV show from the 90s called [name_f]Daria[/name_f].

I love both [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]

[name_f]Katalin[/name_f] is a gorgeous name! [name_m]How[/name_m] wonderful that it’s an honour name for you.

[name_f]Daria[/name_f] is my least favourite too, but I love both [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]/[name_f]Katalin[/name_f].

[name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_m]Coen[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]

I like both [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] for you.

I think [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] has a pretty sound, but [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] fits better with your boys’ names. I think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] sounds nice as does [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], but I would go with [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] since it is so special to you. If you aren’t sure about [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] or [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], you might consider [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] or [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. They’re similar with the [name_f]El[/name_f] beginning and length of the names, but flow a bit better with [name_f]Katalin[/name_f], [name_f]IMO[/name_f].

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Katalin[/name_f] or [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] are lovely options, I know it’s a popular option but I can never get on board with [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], I prefer [name_f]Louise[/name_f] or [name_f]Louisa[/name_f].

I like [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]

I like both Eloise and Elodie, and Katalin is a great middle name.

I do feel your poor SO is getting slghtly neglected . . . ! As far as Daria goes, I think it’s gorgeous. Eloise and Elodie seem ‘prettier’ to me, more girly and on-trend, but Daria has a magical and somehow classic feel, like Marguerite crossed with Dasha.
