Name help?! Sos!?!

HELLO [name_u]BABY[/name_u] LOVERS-

MY husband and I are expecting twins in [name_u]March[/name_u]. We just found out we are having two baby girls!!! The last name is [name_m]Valle[/name_m] and I need suggestions for baby names that sound good together!!!

WE are open to lots of suggestions but here are a few ideas we have thought of

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] & [name_u]Addison[/name_u]
[name_f]Essie[/name_f] & [name_u]Emory[/name_u]

Let me KNOW what you think:) I would really appreciate your help!

Okay… Wrong forum area. This thread is going into the Girls Names forum.

I like that your names seem to be unique yet familiar. Personally, I love nature names, so I adore your choices of [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I also like shorter, or nick namey feeling names, while my husband is the opposite and prefers elaborate long names! I think my favorite pair is [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_u]Addison[/name_u]. I was a little surprised to see [name_u]Addison[/name_u] in your list because it seems more main stream then your other choices (although I do love [name_u]Addison[/name_u] and the nickname [name_f]Addy[/name_f]!). What do you think your naming influences are? Are you and your husband on the same page?

I like [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Have you thought of [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]? [name_m]Just[/name_m] because [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is such a complete, classic name and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] is a nickname-name to me.
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is my fave girls combination atm (see sig. haha) so just another suggestions!
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_u]Addison[/name_u] is also nice, and not a fan of [name_f]Essie[/name_f] or [name_u]Emory[/name_u], plus I don’ like matching twin names.

I adore [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]!!! I might want to suggest [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I think they are perfect together. With twins I like names that are connected in some way but not in an obvious way. The fact that they are both word names is a perfect connection to my mind!

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is wonderful.

As far as new idea’s… I love [name_u]Winter[/name_u] so…

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] !!!

I love [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f].

I also adore [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f].

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is beautiful!!
Never heard of [name_f]Essie[/name_f] or [name_u]Emory[/name_u], they are gorgeous names but feel a bit different to your other choices?
[name_m]Just[/name_m] because of its similarity to [name_f]Essie[/name_f] - how about [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]?
I love your name choices!! Good luck

[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] get my vote! I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Essie[/name_f] would also be adorable.

I love [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]!

i, too, was going to suggest a poppy/wren set

i adore essie, though, especially as a nn for esther? but i don’t know if that’s something you care for. emory and addison seem to go together better than either of those names with anything else, just because they’re so unisex. poppy and alice is also quite lovely - i like that they both feel slightly british, as well as the fact that they’re five letters and two syllables each.

congratulations, and good luck!

Congratulations!!

My thoughts on the combinations:
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] - This combination feels very upper crust [name_u]Brit[/name_u], almost like characters from a [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] book. I’m British and totally love this vibe!! The flow is very effortless and sounds so soft. It’s a gorgeous pairing. I love how [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f] look and sound so whimsical together. It’s just great.

[name_u]Wren[/name_u] & [name_u]Addison[/name_u] - [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is a lovely nature inspired choice. It’s very sweet and lyrical. The name visually and sounds very vibrant. She’s up beat and is lovely. I’m not keen on [name_u]Addison[/name_u], I can see the appeal but it’s not my thing. Suggestion [name_u]Wren[/name_u] & [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]?

[name_f]Essie[/name_f] & [name_u]Emory[/name_u] - hmm well I’m not keen!! [name_f]Essie[/name_f] is a cute nickname for [name_f]Esther[/name_f] but I dislike her as a name in her own right. Have you thought of [name_f]Effie[/name_f]? Has a similar vibe but just feels prettier. [name_u]Emory[/name_u] is okay I see the appeal but I think I prefer [name_u]Emery[/name_u] in away and I’m totally unsure on the unisex quality of this name. I’m not keen. Suggestions [name_f]Effie[/name_f] & [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]?
