I really like the flow of [name]Marcello[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] and feel it is a more unexpected and unique choice. However, I do like the name [name]Beckett[/name] so I am torn. If I had to pick, I think I would go for [name]Marcello[/name]. You could always wait to meet him and see whether that gives you any inspiration one way or the other…

It’s crazy because they are such different names and yet I find most people either like both or hate both! [name]LOVE[/name] your boys’ names.

I like [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] best. [name]Marcello[/name] may be teased since it’s so uncommon and sounds very Italian. [name]Beckett[/name] is so handsome, and I love the nickname [name]Beck[/name].

[name]Love[/name] [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Joseph[/name]! I had strongly considered [name]Beckett[/name] for my own list a few weeks ago, and I still love it. If [name]Everett[/name] wasn’t so high on my list, [name]Beckett[/name] probably would be! I love the nn [name]Beck[/name] for a boy, too.

[name]Marcello[/name] is nice, I just like the literary associations (and the fun -ett ending) of [name]Beckett[/name] so much more, and [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] is just awesome.

Good luck!

Ew, seriously? [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Joseph[/name] sounds like a girl name :p. I mean, [name]Marcello[/name] has a nice flow in the name.

Plus, [name]Marcello[/name] means warrior and sounds boyish. My little brother, [name]Juno[/name], has always been teased because [name]Juno[/name] means goddess of love.

I would wait until you meet your little one, I think you will know the right name once you meet him and did you consider for [name]Beckett[/name] the intials would be BJ?

I live in a very Italian American area, so I’m not worried about him being teased over the name being too Italian sounding. I know kids named [name]Valentino[/name], [name]Giovanni[/name], [name]Alessandro[/name], etc. As far as [name]Giuseppe[/name] goes, cannot do it because I have an ex-boyfriend, who I dated for years with that name and I don’t want anyone thinking I am associating the baby with him and not my husband! I did think about the BJ thing. Is it that weird to have it be BJ even if we don’t call him BJ or anything? I mean will kids really know enough to make fun of that who know him well enough to actually know his middle name?

And also, thank you all so much for the feedback!

That’s true they may not know his middle name to poke fun. I like the way [name]Marcello[/name] flows btw
