I’ve posted once before for advice on my 4th daughter. Big sisses are [name]Ava[/name] [name]Grace[/name], [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Caroline[/name], and [name]Lily[/name] [name]Paige[/name]. We like [name]Molly[/name] [name]Kate[/name], but I want something longer and less nicknamey in the middle. My husband loves [name]Kate[/name] with a K and so do I. But we both prefer [name]Catherine[/name] with a C. With [name]Catherine[/name] she would “match” my 2nd daughter in terms of syllables and style. I am seeing a few [name]Catherine[/name]'s with a C going by [name]Kate[/name] with a K. i.e. the [name]William[/name] and [name]Kate[/name].
Is it wierd to name her [name]Molly[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] and call her [name]Molly[/name] [name]Kate[/name] sometimes? I’m not sure how much we would, just trying to find a compromise! Thanks in advance.
[name]Molly[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] with [name]Molly[/name] [name]Kate[/name] as a nn is adorable. Not weird at all. Many Catherines use [name]Kate[/name] as a nn.
I whole heartedly second this! I think it is a great name choice (granted I’m partial to [name]Katherine[/name] as that is my name, but [name]Catherine[/name] is my second choice of the spelling variations for the name).
My [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] is frequently called [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Kate[/name]… Its zippy, but when she’s really in trouble, then [name]Zoe[/name] [name]Katherine[/name] really sends a message.
[name]Molly[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] is a really nice choice, IMHO. [name]Molly[/name] is cute (and classic) and [name]Catherine[/name] is very grown-up classic.
