Name I hadn't heard before

I met a 10-year-old named Katella today. Any thoughts?

Well, it’s rather close to Nutella…I’m not liking how it sounds either. Is it “kay-tell-uh” or “kuh-tell-uh”?

Yes, Nutella was my first thought too! We were playing in the park today with a 5yr old girl called [name]Armani[/name] which was new to me as a given name.

She pronounced it kuh-tell-uh and I thought of Nutella as well. I like how it looks, but I don’t like the pronunciation.

I dislike it. I agree that it’s rather close to Nutella.

I too immediately thought of Nutella.

I thought of Patella. I hope she never injures her knee.

It sounds made-up to me. Not a fan, sorry. :frowning:

I’d prefer [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Ella[/name], with [name]Cat[/name]-[name]Ella[/name] being the nickname. But I’m not a fan of made up names.
