For the most part, I’m really against nouns as names. I just think it can get awfully confusing and I don’t really like most of them. However, there are some that I think work well enough. [name_f]Summer[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u], for example, both make nice names for a baby girl. [name_m]Chance[/name_m] works for a boy, in my opinion. But [name_m]Arrow[/name_m]? [name_m]Night[/name_m]? [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]? I don’t think any of those work as names for a person.
The only one of yours that I have a hard time with is [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] Hollow, bc it sounds like the name of a place instead of a person. The rest I think are just fine.
I prefer more nature based names that are nouns or using them in the middle, like [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Fox[/name_m], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f], etc.
[name_m]Wolf[/name_m] Hollow sounds like it should be a town in Oregon or [name_m]Washington[/name_m]. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_m]Cullen[/name_m] is off to me, but I can’t put my finger on why. The others are fine.
Personally, I love noun names and word names in general. I hadn’t thought of using Hollow, but I actually really like it. The only issue I see with that combo is that you have two noun names instead of just one and that ends up sounding like a thing or a place rather than a name. If you split up [name_m]Wolf[/name_m] and Hollow I think they could work.
