Hey all!
We are anxiously awaiting [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], the day we will pick up our newly-adopted cat. He’s about three years old, and the animal shelter has guessed that he’s a [name_f]Maine[/name_f] Coon/[name_f]Maine[/name_f] Coon mix, based on his appearance and his personality.
He’s large - fifteen pounds - with long, shaggy fur that makes a ruff around his neck/on his chest, tufted ears, and a plume of a tail. He’s a yellowy-orange-reddish color with golden eyes. He is affectionate, easy-going, confident, and playful, according to his foster person.
His name is currently [name_m]Peter[/name_m], but that is my partner’s dad’s name, so we would like to change it. We’ll feel it out once he’s home and settled in, but here are some ideas, so far:
Starting with P: [name_u]Porter[/name_u], [name_m]Powell[/name_m], [name_m]Putnam[/name_m], [name_m]Percival[/name_m]…
Meaning redhead/blonde: [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]/[name_m]Finnian[/name_m]…
Miscellaneous: Leopold, [name_m]Buckley[/name_m], [name_m]Ludo[/name_m]
What do you all think? Other ideas? We have some narrowing down to do, which I hope will be easier once he’s here with us! [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] can’t come quickly enough!
