I am due in the summer with Baby #3 and my husband and I are quite unsettled on our future child’s name.
We don’t know the gender so we are looking for boy and girl names…
My husband and I both have common/ familiar/ popular names so we went into baby-naming wanting something uncommon…
In addition, we both, have preferred biblical names that have a good legacy- story attached. So no Jezebel or Abner, etc.
So after years, using this thought process, we have been blessed with:
Jabez and Esther
Looking to name our third we’re finding it hard to brainstorm or settle on a first name for either gender. We are thinking middle name James or Stephen if a boy. And Joy if a girl.
We haven’t been able to settle on a biblical character that we’d want to use as a name for either gender. Hubby’s leaning for a boy has been Gideon while mine has been Jairus but we aren’t really fans of each other’s picks. So now we’re thinking a possible word first name to kind of go along with Esthers middle name but have no idea what word names to do for a boy. For a girl we’ve thought of names like Promise or Harvest but then feel that would leave us lost on a middle name. I
Moshe is the Hebrew version of Moses, I’ve always liked the sound of it, and for a girl’s name…I really enjoy Abilene, it’s also Hebrew and means Land of Meadows/Born where the grass grows. Good luck on your search!
