Hiya, as of late I’ve been looking at my lists and the problem is while I like lots of names, in theory there’s not many I would/could use in real life.
I live in the UK and a lot of names I like are quite common, I grew up as one of many [name_f]Laura[/name_f]'s and I’d like to give my child a name that’s a bit different, whilst still being easy enough to pronounce & spell.
My favourite name is [name_m]Saul[/name_m] at the moment. It was only number 515 on the top baby names in UK last year and I feel it meets what I am looking for perfectly.
The more common names I like are [name_m]Louis[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_m]Roman[/name_m], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]. I love [name_m]Cassian[/name_m] but my friend has a Kassius so this is out. I quite like [name_m]Kingston[/name_m] but not sure if it’s a bit too out there.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received!
Very low on the UK chart (all below #250), but still easy to spell/say. Known, established names, nothing too cray. These ones I think are the most wearable:
[name_m]Winston[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m] (sounds so much nicer without my gross American accent)
[name_m]Findlay[/name_m]
[name_m]Soren[/name_m]
[name_u]Percy[/name_u]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
[name_u]Colby[/name_u]
[name_u]Calder[/name_u]
[name_m]Callen[/name_m]
[name_m]Dalton[/name_m]
[name_m]Lennox[/name_m]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_u]Parker[/name_u]
[name_m]Damon[/name_m]
[name_u]Reagan[/name_u]
[name_m]Steven[/name_m]
[name_m]Henley[/name_m]
[name_m]Martin[/name_m]
I like [name_m]Kingston[/name_m] a lot. I also like [name_m]Kingsley[/name_m], which is quite low on the UK list as well.
[name_m]Miles[/name_m] is great, too. It’s less popular on the UK chart (#185) than it is in the US.
[name_m]Ian[/name_m] [name_u]Casey[/name_u] sounds awesome and it is sort of like a chopped up version of [name_m]Cassian[/name_m].
I love the name [name_m]Roman[/name_m], I really like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] also.
[name_m]Saul[/name_m] is not quite my style. Same with [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] and [name_m]Louis[/name_m]. If it is pronounced [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], I love it. [name_u]Lou[/name_u]-ee not so much.
[name_m]Kingston[/name_m] is very handsome and certainly not too out there.
