Name list..feedback is wanted!

Hello again!
I’m getting the hang of this site and although I’m not pregnant (trying to conceive), I thought providing you all with a list of what names my husband and I like might help you give us some feedback for the future. Let us know what you think and how our names complement our kids’ [name]Darcy[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] & [name]Jonah[/name]. Thank you!

Names we like:
Girls:
[name]Shea[/name]/[name]Shay[/name]
[name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lyla[/name] (too close to my own name of [name]Ayla[/name]?)
[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Honor[/name]
[name]Luna[/name]

Boys:
[name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]Milo[/name]
[name]Luke[/name]
[name]Franklin[/name]
[name]Silas[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Roman[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] (going to the girls?)
[name]Edwin[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]

Thank you!

[name]Shea[/name]/[name]Shay[/name]- Pretty, quaint Irish name that sounds like a revived vintage name.
[name]Pearl[/name]- I don’t really like this. Sounds exotic dancer or whale in a cartoon
[name]Alice[/name]- This is on the rise and may be in the top 100 soon, but other than that, beautiful name
[name]Eliza[/name]- Great, stand alone nickname of [name]Elizabeth[/name].
[name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lyla[/name] (too close to my own name of [name]Ayla[/name]?): Depends on how you pronounce [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Ayla[/name]. If you pronounce [name]Ayla[/name] like [name]Isla[/name], and [name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lyla[/name] like Lie-luh, its probably too close. However, if you pronounce [name]Ayla[/name] like [name]Kayla[/name], your good to go.
[name]Rose[/name]- Simple and sweet
[name]Abigail[/name]- I prefer just plain [name]Abby[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]- Strong and pretty
[name]Honor[/name]- It sounds like on-her, which is going to be a problem when middle and high school boys figure that one out. [name]Honora[/name]/[name]Honoria[/name] is much better.
[name]Luna[/name]- I love this name. Pretty and it has meaning.

Boys:
[name]Sebastian[/name]- [name]Love[/name], with the nickname Bash or [name]Ian[/name].
[name]Henry[/name]- I’m growing to like this name
[name]Milo[/name]- My neighbor used this on her cat, but I think it works on a human, too
[name]Luke[/name]- [name]One[/name] of my favorites, if it wasn’t so popular
[name]Franklin[/name]- With the -lin ending and possible unisex feel, I (sadly) think of a girl. [name]Frank[/name] is a much better, under used option.
[name]Silas[/name]- [name]Love[/name]!
[name]Arthur[/name]- I’m considering this one.
[name]Roman[/name]- Eh, OK, but I prefer [name]Rune[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] (going to the girls?)- Actually, [name]Avery[/name] still works for a boy, though you probably want to give him a very masculine middle.
[name]Edwin[/name]- First thought: Twilight. Second thought: Nerdy, antisocial geek. Sorry
[name]Nathaniel[/name]- Classic, but a wee bit popular for my taste.

[name]Shea[/name]/[name]Shay[/name] - I prefer the [name]Shea[/name] spelling since it seems to be the traditional spelling. It also looks more appealing imo. This is one of the names I like the most on your list. Short, simple and sweet. Goes well with [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Jonas[/name] and [name]Darcy[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] - I love this name too. Sweet and classic. Ages well.
[name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lyla[/name] (too close to my own name of [name]Ayla[/name]?) - Not my favorite on your list. All the [name]Lyla[/name], [name]Layla[/name], [name]Lily[/name] names kind of blend together after a while and make them seem overused. I don’t think it is too close to your name though.
[name]Abigail[/name] - Goes well with your other kids’ names.
[name]Honor[/name] - Doesn’t seem to mesh with the other names.
[name]Luna[/name] - Seems a little to quirky in comparison to the other names as well, but I like it!

Boys:
[name]Henry[/name] - I love [name]Henry[/name]. That’s all I can say. I love it.
[name]Milo[/name] - Sounds a little too cutesy in comparison to serious names like [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name]. I really like [name]Milo[/name] though. Maybe as a nn for [name]Miles[/name]?
[name]Arthur[/name] - I love [name]Arthur[/name]. Perfect fit with the other names too.
[name]Avery[/name] (going to the girls?) - Still a boy name to me! I don’t mind it on a girl, but prefer it on a boy. I really like it.
[name]Nathaniel[/name] - Never liked [name]Nathaniel[/name] and never understood why it is soooo popular and so many people love it. Sorry.

First off I want to say I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Darcy[/name]!

[name]Shea[/name]/[name]Shay[/name] – Not to bad, I prefer [name]Shea[/name] to [name]Shay[/name]. Not so sure how I like it with your others kids
[name]Pearl[/name] – Doesn’t work with others, good middle option?
[name]Alice[/name] – I really like this name, especially with [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name] – I don’t think it works with your kids names
[name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lyla[/name] – Too trendy to go with [name]Darcy[/name], imo
[name]Rose[/name] – I love this name and love when it’s used in the first name position. It might be too plain in comparison to [name]Darcy[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name] though.
[name]Abigail[/name] – Works perfectly with the other names
[name]Violet[/name] – I seem to be the only person who thinks this is an ugly name
[name]Honor[/name] – Definitely does not work with your kids names
[name]Luna[/name] – Too trendy to fit with the others

Of your options, I like [name]Alice[/name], [name]Abigail[/name], and [name]Rose[/name] the most

[name]Sebastian[/name], [name]Luke[/name], [name]Arthur[/name], and [name]Edwin[/name] – [name]Don[/name]’t work with your kids
[name]Henry[/name] – Works well style wise, but may be too old for your trendy boy names
[name]Milo[/name] and [name]Silas[/name] – Interesting options. I’m not sure I like the names in general, but like it with your kids
[name]Franklin[/name] – Too grandpa for your little boy sounding names
[name]Roman[/name] – Hate this name. But it also doesn’t work with [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name], imo
[name]Avery[/name] – I’d stick away from unisex names, as your current kids all have gender specific names
[name]Nathaniel[/name] – I don’t think [name]Nathaniel[/name] really flows well with the others. Would you consider [name]Nathan[/name] instead?

Of your options, I like [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Nathan[/name] (not [name]Nathaniel[/name]) the most

I’m assuming that [name]Darcy[/name] is a girl. Yes? If no, I might lean toward the more formal, feminine names on your list.

Names we like:
Girls:
[name]Shea[/name]/[name]Shay[/name]- Feels very airy to me, and somewhat unisex.
[name]Pearl[/name]- [name]Lovely[/name], but doesn’t have the spunk of your other kids’ names.
[name]Alice[/name]-YES
[name]Eliza[/name]-YES
[name]Lila[/name]/[name]Lyla[/name] (too close to my own name of [name]Ayla[/name]?)- NMS, but I think it would go nicely with sister [name]Darcy[/name].
[name]Rose[/name]- Not spunky exactly, but wonderful. Would [name]Darcy[/name] feel like her sister got the fancier name?
[name]Abigail[/name]- [name]Just[/name] a little more upright than your other names.
[name]Violet[/name]- I’m a sucker for [name]Violet[/name].
[name]Honor[/name]- If [name]Darcy[/name] is a girl, no.
[name]Luna[/name]- More bohemian than your others, though it’s lovely.

Boys:
[name]Sebastian[/name]- no
[name]Henry[/name]- YES
[name]Milo[/name]- YES
[name]Luke[/name]- Not as fun as your other names.
[name]Franklin[/name]- Feels very presidential, whereas your other names feel a little more organic.
[name]Silas[/name]- Yes with [name]Jonah[/name], not so sure about it with [name]Darcy[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name]- YES
[name]Roman[/name]- nms
[name]Avery[/name] (going to the girls?)- Yes, it’s going to the girls… and might be tricky with sister [name]Darcy[/name]
[name]Edwin[/name]- Very handsome
[name]Nathaniel[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this, though it’s longer than your others. Might need a nickname… [name]Nate[/name], [name]Thaniel[/name], Thaneo

@aurra hmm, very interesting feedback! Brought about some points I hadn’t considered so thank you. As far as my own name, I pronounce it like rhyming with [name]Kayla[/name]. I was more concerned with spelling [name]Lyla[/name] & [name]Ayla[/name] since our spelling is so similar so I’d probably go with [name]Lila[/name] for that reason.

@jess, I like [name]Nathan[/name] too. Thank you for the suggestions! @uselesskitty I would definitely considering using [name]Miles[/name] too. Thanks!

@emma, yes [name]Darcy[/name] is a girl! Thanks everyone for all the input.

With [name]Darcy[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name], I love:

Girls:
[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Shea[/name]

Boys:
[name]Milo[/name]
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name]

The names that I like from your lists:

Girls:
[name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]
[name]Abigail[/name]
Of course, since [name]Darcy[/name] is a girl some of these may be a bit feminine compared to her name. Maybe you should instead go with [name]Shea[/name].

Boys:
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Edwin[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]
I think any of these could work.

The names I like from your list:

[name]Pearl[/name] [I might use this as a middle name, for example [name]Luna[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] rather than a first name]
[name]Luna[/name]
[name]Lila[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]

[name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Henry[/name]
[name]Nathaniel[/name]

Throw me some combos please
