These are awesome!

[name_f]Abigail[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_u]Amos[/name_u], [name_m]Obadiah[/name_m], and [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] stood out to me most, I really love all the biblical names :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

These are so interesting, thank you for sharing! The Gaelic to [name_f]English[/name_f] translations are great, I hadn’t noted the connections between certain names before.

Fantastic! I’m especially intrigued by Seoras, Tamefin and Ealasaid; names I hadn’t known existed up until this point. Thanks so much for sharing!

I know Eilidh is “ay-lee” because I went to school with one, and these are the pronunciations I found for the others:
Cairistiona - kay-ihrs-chee-na
Ealasaid - yal-ih-saj
Iseabal - eesh-ah-bel
Mairghread - mair-gred
Siusaidh - Syu-see

I think Tamefin might actually be Tamesin as the same letter (s) is used for [name_m]Samson[/name_m] and [name_f]Susanna[/name_f].

I think you’re right there. Looks like the old elongated ∫ that stopped being used so commonly in, maybe, the 1800s.
