Name my daughter!

I’ve been loving and really appreciating everyone’s suggestions for my daughter’s name who is due in [name]December[/name]. While my husband and I are narrowing down the list to a few contenders, I still feel like the perfect name is out there. So, all of my criteria aside (surprise baby/winter baby), what would you name my daughter?
(Joining older siblings [name]Annalise[/name] [name]Claire[/name], [name]Mason[/name] [name]Christopher[/name], and Lilevi [name]Celia[/name] “[name]Lilou[/name]”)

My choice would be [name]Ava[/name] [name]Caroline[/name].

[name]Estella[/name] Lumi

The feminine, stately Latin [name]Estella[/name] to balance [name]Annalise[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Celia[/name]…

The fresh modern Lumi to match Lilevi and [name]Mason[/name]

The wintry connection with Lumi, Finnish for snow

The total meaning of “[name]Star[/name] of the [name]Snow[/name],” to represent guidance and purpose for your [name]Christmas[/name] surprise

WOw [name]Blade[/name]! I’m impressed! I have no suggestions (big help i know!) but felt like [name]Blade[/name] needed a thumbs up there!

I love the meaning behind that! But do you think it’d be okay to give our youngest daughter a middle name that doesn’t start with C? My husband and I both coincidentally had “C” middle names, and then passed that on to our three now, but I do love your combination and using ‘Lumi’ too!

[name]Ah[/name], that’s inspire me… [name]Lumina[/name] [name]Carol[/name]. I just love the meaning behind.

Estalla Lumi is stunning though.

I think @[name]Blade[/name] hit the nail on the head - one more suggestion:

[name]Celeste[/name], which means “star.”

I think @[name]Blade[/name] hit the nail on the head - one more suggestion:

[name]Celeste[/name], which means “heavenly.”

[name]Love[/name] Lumi! We live in a very Finnish community and I wanted to name our son Lumi had he been a girl because it snowed on the day he was born! This shouldn’t be a big deal that it snowed, but it was [name]May[/name] 19th so I thought the signs were there! Good luck

Cheers @beccaroo

I do think it’s perfectly fine. If their first names started with the same initial, it might stand out more. But I never even noticed it until you pointed it out, and have been staring at your kids’ names.

[name]Iris[/name] [name]December[/name] (because she is a [name]December[/name] baby)
[name]Callista[/name] [name]Josephine[/name] ([name]Callista[/name] to do with stars)

[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] and [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Celeste[/name] came to mind for me

I love [name]Aurora[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]! MY [name]SIL[/name] is [name]Elizabeth[/name] so I think I’d have to avoid using [name]Elisabeth[/name].

The names I’m leaning towards at the moment are [name]Stella[/name] (prefer [name]Stella[/name] to [name]Estella[/name], but love the combination with Lumi), [name]Eliora[/name], and I really like [name]Posey[/name], but I am still trying to find a long name that I like to go with it!

I think either [name]Stella[/name] or [name]Eliora[/name] work very well with your favored name of Lumi, and both have a pretty [name]Christmas[/name]-related meaning. I personally find [name]Posey[/name] to be a candy floss name, sweet but insubstantial, and not strong enough for a grown woman.

I do like the name Lumi very much (I named my new kitten Lumi actually) but I think it would work best in the middle spot. Same goes for [name]Posey[/name]. [name]IMO[/name], [name]Peony[/name] paired with a more substantial name would be nice too.
Other star names: Hesperia, [name]Tara[/name] or Sitara (Sanskrit), [name]Moira[/name] (means “star of the sea”, and made famous by ballerina/actress [name]Moira[/name] Shearer)…

[name]Gwendolyn[/name] [name]Kate[/name]

[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name] or [name]Lucia[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name] =light & gift =gift of light? the meaning seems fitting for the [name]Christmas[/name]/[name]December[/name] season.
other names that mean 'light":
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name]
[name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] =light & pure =pure light also appropriate for [name]December[/name] & [name]Christmas[/name] time
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name]
[name]Leora[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name]

on another track:
[name]Eliana[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name] =God has answered & gift =God has answered with this gift? (see the Hebrew meaning of [name]Eliana[/name] on behindthename.com; NB only has the Italian/Spanish meaning)
Have fun choosing your baby’s name! There are lots of good suggestions in this thread.

I really love all of these suggestions too! I really like [name]Eliana[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] too! Thank you all for your really awesome suggestions! My husband and I definitely have a growing list of names that we are really loving, a lot of them being suggestions from you berries!
