Name of protagonist

I’m planning a book series, that takes place in the future, and I am having issues on deciding the name of the main protagonist. He cares little about others but still in the end is human. He is suave and attractive but at the same time the cruelest person in the series so far. He does marry the main character Phoenyx so it should work with that as well.

The two names I’m debating between are: [name]Hadrian[/name] and Pellinore. I’m leaning towards [name]Hadrian[/name] because it sounds more threatening and I think it works better with Phoenyx.

What do you think?

I too lean towards [name]Hadrian[/name]. Where did you pick up Pellinore? I’ve never heard it before.

I agree, [name]Hadrian[/name] seems to work really well. It fits for me because it reminds be of the word “hatred” which works well in this situation.

Pellinore is a name of an Arthurian knight. He defeated [name]Arthur[/name] three times in a row when they met, which made him an impressive figure. [name]Hadrian[/name] on the other hand, is the name of a powerful [name]Roman[/name] Emperor.
