Name Opinions Wanted

We are looking at names (though we aren’t TTC just yet). Our favorites are:

[name]Rosalia[/name] (girl) - NN [name]Rose[/name], [name]Rosie[/name], [name]Rosa[/name]
[name]Rowan[/name] (boy)
Glorianna (girl) - NN [name]Glory[/name], [name]Gloria[/name], [name]Morning[/name] [name]Glory[/name]
[name]Phoenix[/name] (boy)

We live in an area where ‘uncommon’ names aren’t that big of a surprise. We live near a Native American (NA) reservation and many people, [name]NAs[/name] and non-[name]NAs[/name], use less traditional names. I have had names like Acorn in my classes (he was a non-NA). [name]Do[/name] they age well? Can you see an adult with these names?

I really like [name]Rowan[/name], especially on a boy! The rest are NMS, sorry.

I really like Glorianna and [name]Phoenix[/name]. I don’t like [name]Rosalia[/name] and I prefer [name]Rowan[/name] on a girl as I’ve only ever met or heard or or read about girl Rowans. I think I’m in the minority with that one though.

I’ve met an adult [name]Phoenix[/name]. He’s great. He loves his name and he works with computers, so it’s a more professional environment, so I think it works perfectly fine.

I like all your names really, particularly [name]Rowan[/name]. [name]Morning[/name] [name]Glory[/name] has another meaning though,it’s rude. And may well be a UK thing, but just in case it’s not I thought I’d mention it.

@hayley88 - It may be a UK term, but thanks for the warning. We would probably just use [name]Morning[/name] [name]Glory[/name] as a family pet name and just shout [name]Glory[/name] or [name]Gloria[/name] if we were in public (playground, school, etc).

[name]Rosalia[/name] is my favourite from your list, but I prefer [name]Rosalie[/name].
