[name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name] or [name]Shepherd[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]?
[name]Baby[/name] will be called [name]Shepherd[/name], [name]Benjamin[/name] is DH’s name. [name]Shepherd[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] is the obvious order, but it sounds weird to me. Like he’s a shepherd named [name]Benjamin[/name]? What do you think?
I agree that [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name] sounds better, but if he’ll go by [name]Shepherd[/name] regardless, I would go for [name]Shepherd[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], especially since his initials would be B.S. and I’m worried that could cause issues (although it could also mean bachelor of science, so maybe that’s not so bad. I wonder if I’m the only one that notices that?). Either way, it’s a lovely name.
[name]Shepherd[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] doesn’t sound that bad, it just doesn’t flow as well as [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name]. However, I feel that if you are going to call him [name]Shepherd[/name], you should name him [name]Shepherd[/name].
Also, I notice B.S. stands for bachelor of science too ash - your not alone! I notice initials M.[name]Ed[/name]. too, as this is my Master of Education abbreviation I sign to what feels like millions of papers daily.
[name]Hi[/name] sweetie,
I really like [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name], but keep in mind, there is a english television report and named [name]Ben[/name] [name]Shepherd[/name]… [name]Ben[/name] is probably the nickname he will use. Best wishes on your pregnancy and labour.

Waiting to have some children and the right time with the right man.
Actually our last name starts with an S, so BS is basically inevitable in some combo with [name]Benjamin[/name]. But DH survived, so I’m not TOO stressed over that!
I also think Benjamin Shepherd sounds better, and I know plenty of people who go by their middle names. Although as far as your concern that Shepherd Benjamin sounds like a sheep herder, people would much more often be saying “Shepherd [your last name]” than “Shepherd Benjamin,” so I don’t think that would be too much of an issue.
