I recently heard the name “Seinne” (pronounced see-en) on The [name_m]Bachelor[/name_m]. I think it’s really beautiful and unique though I would change the spelling if I were to use it. I can’t seem to find anything about its origin or meaning. Can anyone help? Thank you!
[name_f]Glad[/name_f] to hear you would change the spelling- it drives me nuts that it’s spelled incorrectly! It should be Sienne if her mother wanted that pronunciation!
lol I agree completely!
I just know that Sienne is the french name for [name_f]Siena[/name_f] (an italian city). It could possibly come from [name_f]Sena[/name_f], or from Sequana which means “to leak”, “to dump”. Sienne is the correct spelling. Beautiful name!
