I like in order from most favorite to least favorite of the favorites: Galahad, [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m], Hyperion.

My favourite is Galahad, here are some combo ideas:

Galahad [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
Galahad [name_u]Constantine[/name_u] [name_m]Valor[/name_m]
Galahad Oleander [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
Galahad [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] Vervain
Galahad [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] Pendragon
Galahad [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] Siderion
Galahad [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]

P.S. I love Faramir!

[name_m]Endymion[/name_m] [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
Galahad [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] [name_m]Valor[/name_m]
Gwydion [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] [name_m]Basil[/name_m]

didn’t vote for it, but I like it nontheless.
[name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] Vervain [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]

Galahad [name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]!

Thanks guys, keep the votes coming! I am very happy to see Galahad getting the majority of votes as he’s our top contender. I really need to decide between him and [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m]: I used to think I like Galahad more but I’m rereading T.H. White’s The Once and [name_u]Future[/name_u] [name_m]King[/name_m] now and his [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m] is just adorable…[name_m]Lenny[/name_m] is such a cute nickname, too.

gia.berry; Galahad [name_u]Valentine[/name_u] [name_u]Frost[/name_u], Galahad Oleander [name_u]Frost[/name_u] and Galahad [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] Pendragon are fantastic! I really like [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] for first middle but then it’s somewhat theme-y with [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]…And I love Faramir, too!

desdemona; I like [name_m]Endymion[/name_m] [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]!

I’m glad that you like them! I don’t think it’s too theme-y with [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] if you were to go for it, it’s only one initial after all.

Oh, you’re right. I’m probably just overthinking…

Galahad [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]
Galahad [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u]
Galahad [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Pendragon

[name_m]Lancelot[/name_m] Oleander [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_m]Lancelot[/name_m] [name_m]Horatio[/name_m] [name_m]Basil[/name_m]
[name_m]Lancelot[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Vervain

I like Galahad and [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]
Galahad has grown on me since seeing it in your posts - I really like the sound and the flow of it.
[name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] is also great! I read a book with a character called [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] in it a while back (a modern retelling of the [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] myth) and it fitted in to the modern setting surprisingly well!

(I also like Faramir!)

If you have loved Galahad for so long, I think you should use it! As somebody has mentioned in one of your threads, it’s not as Arthurian as [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m], but it still has the charming medieval knight feel. Galahad and [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] make a lovely and eclectic sibset.

I love Gwydion, but I think Galahad is your best bet with [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]. They both counterbalance historical weight with a fantasy storybook feel.

Good luck - I’m sure the sibset will be marvellous, with all these magical options to choose from

Thanks guys! Your votes and comments are super helpful. I see we have a clear winner - it’s very reassuring to see Galahad getting some love. Guess we will be taking Galahad, [name_m]Endymion[/name_m] and [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m] to the hospital…
I will probably close this thread in a couple of days and move on to the middles. Thanks again!

As a brother for [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] my favorite was Hyperion, followed by [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m], followed by [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m].

favorites in order:
Galahad
[name_m]Endymion[/name_m]
Gwydion
[name_m]Lancelot[/name_m]

your taste in names is amazing, by the way! I love all of your options, including the middles as well.

I also really, really love Faramir. It mostly has to do with my love for the character, but I’d love to meet a little one named Faramir!

I know you’re looking to trim your list rather than expand it, but I just wanted to mention [name_m]Faramund[/name_m] (or Faramond or Pharamond) if Faramir is not quite right. Faramund pops up in Arthurian & Shakespearean texts too.

Your love for Galahad seems so deep that I think it should definitely make your top 3.

For what it’s worth, I know an adult [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m]. He uses a short form of his name for everyday use, which works well for him.

ETA: found a good write-up for Faramund at Name of the Week - British Baby Names if it interests you.

Wow, what a list!

I really like the three options that end in N—something about that ending makes them feel a tad more familiar since it’s a common ending for boys. It’s a good balance to the unusual-ness of the names themselves. The only one I’d be a tiny bit hesitant about is Gwydion, since [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] seems to be gaining a foothold.

I also adore [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m]—it’s so cool and intriguing, and I’ve always liked the myth. If the Spanish form [name_m]Orfeo[/name_m] didn’t have the word for “ugly” in it, it would be on my list.

They all go pretty well with [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]. Good luck narrowing down your list!

I really adore [name_m]Orpheus[/name_m] so much.
