I use Nymbler.com for suggestions, BritishBabyNames.com for lists and in-depth info, [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Name [name_m]Wizard[/name_m] for sibling ides, and Parents Connect has a wonderful survey - it surveys the users who have names in their database on the spelling and pronunciation difficulties and teasing potential.
Years ago, when I first started name searching, I, pretty exclusively, used babynames.com.
Now, I like to use a combination nameberry, behindthename.com, and britishbabynames.com, which I particularly love, expecially for birth announcements.
Does anybody have a resource or spreadsheet that has the top 100 or more names in a list including the meanings of those names?
I could look them up one by one and make my own list, but I was wondering if anyone already has this in list form?
i.e.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] - wisdom
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] - universal
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f] - pledged to God
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] - olive tree
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] - life
etc.

I have yet to find one, but I would be interested in one myself, so on [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] when I am off school, I’ll look into it
