Met a family with 12 kids. All with ‘color’ (some of them quite literal, some a little more stretchy) names. They said originally it was an accident, but then it was so easy to keep everyone’s stuff organized with their assigned colors, they just continued. And after the 4th kid they started repeating colors so they could use hand me downs.
I didn’t meet all of the kids but the ones I met were Ginger, Ruby, Olive & Gray, and she mentioned Amber, Violet, Scarlet & Forest as well.
