On a classic game show (that @regionlatbest watches), a [name_m]Danish[/name_m] contestantâs son is named [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] (also the name of my deceased twin brother)! However, the nickname that her husband came up with is not my style - T-Bone (after a [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] steak).
Also, I heard someone talk about a man named [name_u]Dane[/name_u]! Itâs the latest addition to my ever-growing collection of 2,478 names.

Saw a FB post announcing an Oakleeann [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f]. Iâve heard of Oaklee/y and wouldnât think twice about an [name_u]Oaklee[/name_u] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]. But Iâve never heard or considered Oakleeann! Itâs sort of a mouthful with the middle name IMO but so long as the parents love it, thatâs what counts.
Stumbled upon a list of kids who won at this foreign-language competition, and here are the most interesting one (these kids are from Croatia):
[name_f]Agata[/name_f]
[name_u]Amani[/name_u]
Buga (BOO-gah) - according to a legend, this is a name of one of two sisters who, together with their five brothers, lead Croats to the territory where Croatia currently is in the 7h century. Itâs a super rare and a super interesting name, and to my knowledge the only of the names from this legend still in use!
[name_f]Dina[/name_f] (DEE-nah)
[name_f]Kiara[/name_f]
Mak - itâs a flower name (âpoppyâ) used on boys here and in Slovenia!
[name_m]Moris[/name_m]
[name_f]Una[/name_f]
