I came across these 2 names, both on women in their 20’s:
Aimée (prn. [name_f]Em[/name_f]-ay)
Nebraska -I’ve never heard this used as a name. I’ve only known it as the state.
The women weren’t related or even knew other. I heard the names on different occasions. What do you think of the names?
[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] I have heard/seen before. I think it’s a pretty name.
Nebraska is one I’d never considered as a girls name before. I much prefer other state names to this one.
I’ve heard of [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] as [name_f]Amy[/name_f]. I’ve never seen it with the accent marked and pronounced any differently which is why I shared it.
I know twin girls named [name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_u]Kaye[/name_u] and Nebraska [name_f]Jayne[/name_f].
I would never use them, but the spunk of the names suit the girls I suppose.
I know and [name_f]Aimee[/name_f] who lives next door to me (her name is pronounced tea [name_m]French[/name_m] way as well) and it’s quite pretty!
Nebraska sounds very unpleasant to my ears.
