Our son is [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]Chase[/name_u] and we are totally stumped on what to name his brother or sister. We tend to like classic names (ie [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]) but I was a bit dismayed when I found out how popular it still was (its been in the top ten for YEARS). I’m also willing to be a bit more creative with girls names, than with boys. Currently for girls we like [name_f]Viviane[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Cassie[/name_f]), [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] or [name_f]Frances[/name_f]/[name_f]Francesca[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Francie[/name_f]). For boys, I like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] (nn [name_u]Ollie[/name_u]) or [name_m]Edward[/name_m] (nn [name_u]Teddy[/name_u]). My husband has no boys names that he likes, nor can he come up with anything (typical guy, huh?)
Two other pieces of information, my grandmother, [name_f]Frances[/name_f], passed away recently and I’d love the name to include a way to honor her…either by using [name_f]Frances[/name_f] or [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Charles[/name_m], [name_m]Robertson[/name_m] or Constable… all names from her side of the family.
Also, our last name is Italian “DiCarlo”, but I tend to want pretty ethnically generic first names since I’m a total blend of nationalities. [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is our one exception, but I’d consider other Italian names, in additional to traditional English. Please suggest middle names too!! Thank you thank you thank you!!
