Hey All! [name_f]My[/name_f] family is getting a new dog in about 8 weeks, it is going to be a black chow chow who is a boy. We currently already own 2 dogs called [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] and [name_f]Bunny[/name_f] and a cat called [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. Our family is looking for a strong and charismatic name for our new dog that is reasonably short (2-3 syllables preferably) and is not a common dog name yet not too unique either. Our favourite ideas have been [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Atlas[/name_u]! Thanks in advance for all the help.

Yes we were also considering [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and I did suggest [name_u]Kit[/name_u] to my family but they all hated it, it’s one of my all time faves though. Thanks for the ideas

Sounds like you have a full house! I love the idea of [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] for a Chow Chow. It’s fun & a little quirky, but bold & elegant too. I’m fairly sure it’s not too dog common. I also love [name_u]Finn[/name_u], but [name_u]Atlas[/name_u] just seems more black Chow to me.
