I decided to post a boys thread too since we are just TTC. My son is [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] [name_m]Piers[/name_m] and my daughter is [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].
My list for possible girls names is still really up in the air, leading contenders are [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Greer[/name_f], [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f].
I need boy name suggestions because I’m not 100% sure we’ve found the right one. I’d like the to sound good with [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f], and at least some of the girls names too, just in case we popped out twins or have another later on.
Some ideas I had are:
[name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_u]Riley[/name_u]-[name_u]Riley[/name_u] is a family name. I love [name_m]Graham[/name_m], he’s not in love I don’t think
[name_m]Knox[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]- I’ve had this name in my head for awhile and just like how it sounds.
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]-He likes [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], I’m afraid its too ambiguous for gender considering our other names are obvious
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m]-I know, it doesn’t fit with [name_f]Lila[/name_f], but [name_m]Knight[/name_m] is a family name
Some other first names I like are
[name_u]Roan[/name_u]/[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_u]Alden[/name_u]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_u]Tate[/name_u]
[name_u]Reed[/name_u]
Middles
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_u]Riley[/name_u]
[name_m]Knight[/name_m]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]
[name_m]Huxley[/name_m]
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u]
I’m having trouble finding any others that I like. [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] was such an obvious choice for me, I always loved it, knew I would use it, I want a name that I feel similar about. Our last name is three syllables and starts with an A.
Help!
And yes, I know that [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], and [name_u]Alden[/name_u] are all out for sounding too similar, I just wanted to give some other examples. I tend to have a problem with liking names that sound too similar. My favorite boy names are [name_m]Holden[/name_m] and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], and for girls I struggled between [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], and [name_f]Isla[/name_f]
I forgot [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]*
I like [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] with [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f], if I were to hear about siblings named [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] I would guess [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] was a boy. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] is too girly for me to imagine her having a sister with a unisex name. Stylistically [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] fits great with your kids’ names.
My favorite from your list with [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] however is [name_m]Graham[/name_m]. [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], and [name_m]Graham[/name_m], perfection!
Looking at the other names on your list, [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] really stood out to me, even though he’s on the middles list. I really like how [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] sound togeather. The “l” in the middle ties all three names together really well. [name_m]Add[/name_m] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] from your girls’ list and you have a really cool hidden theme.
Names I feel go well with [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] are
[name_m]Callum[/name_m]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
Tegue
[name_m]Breccan[/name_m] - since the rest of the name is so different I think this would be fine with [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] despite the matching ending.
With [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f], I love:
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
