Name the Babies (G1, R1)

So it’s been a while since I’ve seen one of these, but they were so fun, so I thought I’d start up a new one. [name_m]How[/name_m] it works, is there will be 5 families. In the each round, you will be asked to name their next child(ren). Comment your name selections, and I will pick the best / my favourites as the kids names, and then in the next round, they will be apart of the family (you’ll get credit though). I will give about 48 hours to accept new names. Winners will be posted in the next round, which will be a new thread.

ex. [name_f]Amy[/name_f] & [name_m]John[/name_m] are expecting a little girl! They want her initials to be A.J. Both names should be uncommon, girly, but not too frilly.

Poster 1 - [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f] [name_f]Johanna[/name_f]
Poster 2 - [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]

I pick [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] so the next round the post would appear like this: [name_f]Amy[/name_f] & [name_m]John[/name_m] are expecting their first son! They already have DD [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] “A.J.”. For the boy, initials should be L.S. to honour [name_m]John[/name_m]'s parents. Both names should be old fashioned.
DD: [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (poster2)
DS: ?

Poster 1 - would comment the name they think fits best.

Let the game Begin!

Petit Family : [name_u]Hilary[/name_u] & [name_m]Ben[/name_m] are expecting their first child, a boy! [name_u]Hilary[/name_u]’s first language is English, and [name_m]Ben[/name_m]’s is french. Both FN & MN must be easy to pronounce in both languages. They would like to honour [name_m]Ben[/name_m]’s mother [name_f]Diane[/name_f] and [name_u]Hilary[/name_u]’s grandfather [name_m]Bruce[/name_m], in the baby’s name somehow.

[name_m]Durand[/name_m] Family: [name_u]Allison[/name_u] & [name_m]Grant[/name_m] are expecting a daughter! They love old fashioned, longer names with fun, unexpected nicknames. MN MUST be [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as it is a long standing family tradition on [name_u]Allison[/name_u]’s side, and [name_m]Grant[/name_m]’s mother’s name is [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. They are open to the idea of 2 MNs, as long as [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is the first MN, but they are also happy with just 1.

[name_m]Olsen[/name_m] Family: [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] & [name_m]Louis[/name_m] are expecting a girl! [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] loves nature names, [name_m]Louis[/name_m] doesn’t. [name_m]Louis[/name_m] loves nicknames, [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] doesn’t. [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] likes common names (top 20), [name_m]Louis[/name_m] likes uncommon names (at least outside the top 200). Help the couple find a solution!

[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] Family - [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] & [name_u]Michael[/name_u] are expecting twins, a boy and a girl! While they are excited, they’re also stressed because there are a lot of people they would like to honour. They are both only children, so if they don’t use these names, no one will. They also aren’t sure if they will have a third child. So, the names they would like to use include: [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]’s side: [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_u]Addison[/name_u] & [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_u]Michael[/name_u]’s side: [name_f]Kaitlyn[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Charles[/name_m] & [name_m]Alexander[/name_m].

The FN should be extremely uncommon and unique sounding, but not made up, while the MN should be slightly more common, but you may use creative spellings for the middle name.

They are open to the idea of 2 MNs, as long as [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is the first MN, but they are also happy with just 1.
