Hello, friends!
I really enjoyed this the last time I did it, so I thought I’d make another post with my updated lists.
Although I won’t be having children in real life, it’s still quite fun to imagine what kind of family I would have. So below I’m going to provide some information about me, my names, and the image that I have in my mind of my perfect family. I’ve also created mood boards and will be posting my long lists. Then, with all that in mind, I would love to see what you’d name my ten kiddos if given full reigns.
First, a little about me:
Summary
I am a poet, a [name_m]Christian[/name_m], a feminist, a storyteller, and a cinephile. I adore animals, history, and environmentalism. Summary
For girls, I love vintage names, virtue names, other word names, Biblical names, literary names, and nature names. I love names that sound like girls that could be a fifth [name_m]March[/name_m] sister or the friend of [name_f]Anne[/name_f] [name_f]Shirley[/name_f]. Names that bring to mind white cotton dresses, making daisy chains on a summer afternoon, messy braids, blossoming dogwoods, and little hands clasped in prayer.
Summary
For boys, I love nature names, Biblical names, virtue names, literary names, and miscellaneous word names. I love names that could be characters of [name_m]Twain[/name_m] or [name_m]Faulkner[/name_m], or worn by boys who build fairy houses and stomp through creeks with blue jeans rolled up to their knees. Names that are reminiscent of wildflower meadows, old barns, blue skies, reading [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m] while perched in the branches on an oak tree, and the twinkling of fireflies at dusk.

I like to imagine my family as living on a farm in the mountains, with a whole bunch of kids wading barefoot through creeks and reading The Chronicles of [name_f]Narnia[/name_f] aloud every evening before bed. We have nights with endless stars, mornings with peaceful prayer, and there is harmony inside each of our souls.

I would really like it if you would choose these names with myself and my “family” in mind, but if you don’t feel like you have a good enough grasp to recommend combos specifically for me, just go with your gut!
